Obituary: Mary Jo Taylor, 79 of El Dorado, passed away, , 14, 2015, at the Medical of South Arkansas. She was born May 18, 1935, to Luis Howard and Ruth Evelyn Nelson Howard Anderson in Huttig, AR. She was very active in the American Legion, where she served as District President, and was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Monroe Taylor; and step-father, Tim Anderson. Survivors include her three daughters, Diane Anders (Richard), Mona Mason (Mark), Dawne Taylor; brother, Johnny Howard (Jackie) all of El Dorado; five grandchildren, Jennifer McElroy (Mark), Joshua Dumas (Lynzee), Clint Anders (Mallory), Jason Martisek (Christina), Bethany Gee (Jared); nine great grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah, Nick, Corey, Karlie, Cruise, Kambree Grace, Colt Monroe, Cheyanne Mary; one great, great grandson, Conner; niece, Jodie Vines; nephew, Pete Howard; constant companion, Beloved Sammy Taylor; and numerous family and friends who loved her very much and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. tonight at Youngs. services will be at 2:00 p.m. , 17, 2015, at Youngs Chapel with Rev. Don Travis, Rev. Gerald Hicks, and Rev. Charles Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Youngs Directors. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Sheriffs Boys Ranch. Obituary: Martha Walter Taylor, 91, a life-long resident of Judsonia, went home to be with the Lord on 18, 2015. She was born 28, 1923 to the late Phillip Jacob and Mary C. (Giles) Walter. She graduated from Judsonia High School. WWII, she married her high school sweetheart, the late William Bill Taylor. During World War II, Martha was employed at the Ordinance Plant in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Later, she worked for a dear friend at Walls Photography Shop. Martha was known for being a loving caregiver to her mother and her husband. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Judsonia, and the church that she faithfully attended and loved her whole life. Martha was an avid reader, but her favorite past time was watching all types of sporting events on television, but above all, she and Bill looked forward to basketball season and cheering on the Razorbacks every year. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and husband; her twin sister, Mary Walter Nix; two brothers, Phillip Walter and Roy Browning; a sister, Irene Collins; a nephew, Fred Walter. She is survived by niece Cathy (Mitch) Butler of Wichita, Kansas, niece Melinda (Mike) Pankratz of Wentzville, Missouri, niece Peggy Yarbrough of Sherwood, Arkansas, nephew Lindell Collins of Dallas, Texas, niece Beth (Tim) Easley of Grove, Oklahoma, and nephew Judson (Judy) Browning of Searcy, Arkansas. Martha was blessed to have many friends who loved her, shared her love of life and the Lord, and who, in her darkest days, dropped in to brighten her day. The family would also like to extend their thanks to Hospice and to Marthas daily caregivers, Gene Searfoss, Juanita Harper, and Vickie May, for providing her with tender care and tending to her every need. Visitation will be , 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Judsonia, Arkansas. Services will be held immediately following at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Keith Tomlinson and Brother Cary Trickey officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen in Judsonia, Arkansas.
