Obituary: Madeline Ann Taylor, 61, went to be with her Lord and Savior on 30, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, Texas on 12, 1953 to the late Alvin Brown, Jr. and Deloryse (Dody) M. (Farren) Brown. Madeline volunteered at Central Park Elementary School in Bentonville where her grandchildren attend. She was a member of Key Point Church in Bentonville. She loved traveling, cooking, fishing, gardening, playing guitar, singing, and spending time with her family. She was a compassionate, loyal friend who frequently sent cards and letters. Her encouraging words and loving nature were her trademarks. Madeline was the best wife, mother, and nana anyone could ever hope for. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill Taylor of Rogers; son, Landon Taylor and his wife Rebecca of Bentonville; daughter, Lisa Petersen of Greeley, Colorado; and three grandchildren, Ashlynn, Ally, and Carson Taylor. Obituary: Lucy (Luz) Taylor, 70, of Little Rock, AR passed away on May 15, 2015. Lucy was born on 13, 1944 in Puerto Rico, the third child of Luis and Cecilia Montalvo. Lucy and her family moved to New York in 1956. She excelled academically, and graduated from Brooklyn’s Kings nursing school in 1966. She was a captain in the United States Air Force and had a great love of her country. She earned her Master’s Degree from UCA. She worked in Education at the VA for over 30 years. She was a well respected lecturer especially known for her critical care and cardiac courses. Lucy met her late husband, Bill Taylor of Little Rock while she was vacationing in the Bahamas’. were married 22, 1970 and made their home in Little Rock. Lucy loved to share their love story and everyone agreed it was better than any movie. She is now reunited in heaven with Bill, and their love story will continue. Lucy was a loving and sentimental woman who liked to spend time with family, shop, read, and tend to her beautiful roses. Lucy is survived by her son, William Taylor and wife Diane; two grandsons, Will and Wyatt Taylor; two sisters Ramona Montalvo and Mildred Montes; Mildred’s sons John and David Montes; along with numerous family members who will miss her greatly. She had a special place in her heart for all her nephews and nieces. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Bill Taylor; parents Luis and Cecilia Montalvo, and brother, Luis Montalvo. Visitation will be , May 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Fr. Mark Wood as Celebrant.
