Obituary: Ginger Lynn Thorbeck, 35, of Evansville, passed away , 7, 2017, at her home. She worked at Old National Bank as a customer service representative and at Stockwell Inn. She was a 2000 Honor graduate of Bosse High School and attended Indiana University and USI. Ginger was on the Bosse Varsity Soccer team and the Evansville Elite traveling soccer team. She was a generous, selfless friend loved by all. Ginger was the life of the party with her special wit and radiant smile. Ginger was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Hurst; and paternal grandparents, Mary and Francis Thorbeck. She is survived by her father, Larry Thorbeck; mother and stepfather, Karen and Bobby Crabtree; brothers, Cory Thorbeck of Oakland, CA and Daniel (Casey) Thorbeck of Evansville; her precious niece, Kiley Jo; grandmother, Barbara Hurst of Evansville; aunts and uncles, Lynn and Marty Terstegge, Laura and Scott Parsons, and Tom and Martha Thorbeck; cousins, Katie Terstegge, Evan Terstegge, Sierra Parsons, Aden Parsons, and Frances Thorbeck; and her beloved K-9 sidekick, Leila. Obituary: Mary Evelyn Wheeler Thopy Age 95, died 31, 2011, at William S. Major Hospital in Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas V. and Theresa A. Wheeler. For 63 years, she was the loving wife and lifetime partner of Roy F. Thopy, deceased. As a couple, they successfully raised five children. She is survived by four children Robert Thopy (wife Linda), Connie Miller (husband Donald), Barbara Kaforke (husband Steve) and Joseph Thopy (wife Tammy), eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Her daughter, Joan Cuneo, predeceased her as did grandson Douglas Miller. Mary was born and raised in Shelby and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Shelbyville. During her long and loving life, she always put the needs of others before her own. She instilled love, compassion and respect in all of her children as well as a deep faith in God. She will be sorely missed. She was a gift from God. She was a long-time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Indianapolis and of Daughters of Isabella. She organized fundraisers and socials around two lifelong joys - bridge and euchre. She offered her time and enthusiasm to tutoring young children. She enjoyed painting, writing poetry, playing the piano and golf. At the holiday family gatherings, the grandkids wanted grandma as their euchre partner. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm , 3, at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 East 71st Street, Indianapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on , 4, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 North Sarto Drive (corner of East 71st Street and Sarto Drive), Indianapolis. Friends and family may gather at the Church one hour prior to Mass. Donations may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church or the American Heart Association. Obituary: Donald Charles Thonn, age 83, of Bloomington, died morning at the I.U. ; Bloomington Hospital. Donald was born 17, 1931 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Edward and Vera (Rowe) Thonn. He was a retired self-employed Certified Public Accountant and a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. He also served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his children; Cydney West Morrow (David), of Rosman, NC, Brian Thonn (Heather), of Pound Ridge, NY and Stephanie Moranski (John), of Waxhaw, NC; two sisters, Jean Hartzell, of Fishers, IN and Marjorie Antrim (Wayne), of Yorktown, IN, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (Valandingham) Thonn, in 1999 and one brother, Frances Thonn. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary; 700 W.
