Obituary: Joseph Lee Templeton, Sr., 83, of Evansville, passed away , 1, 2015, at Good Samaritan . He was born 19, 1931, in Henderson, KY, to the late Freddie and Delilah (Mills) Templeton. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War and later worked as a plumber. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching sports with family members. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth Templeton. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Maxine (Molinet) Templeton; sons, Joseph (Vickie) Templeton, Jr., Keith (Vonda) Templeton and Kent (Cheri) Templeton; daughter, Jackie (Jeff) Rhoades; grandchildren, Ronald J. Handley, Jr., Joseph L. Templeton III, Tracee N. Templeton, Tifinee N. Templeton, Matthew K. Templeton, Erickia M. (Michael) Wilson, Shavona D. Obituary: Gene R. Templeton, 88, of Greensburg, passed away on , 3, 2014, at the IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Gene was born on 27, 1926, in Decatur , the son of Dale and Clara Templeton. Gene attended school in Burney until 11th grade when he joined the US Army to help fight in WWII. On 29, 1945, Gene married Norma Jackson in Columbus, Georgia and she survives. Other survivors include their three sons - Daryl (Karen) Templeton, Dwain (Pat) Templeton, and Don Templeton all of Greensburg, his sister Maureen (Jack) Brewsaugh, six grandchildren - Tamara (Mike) Baughman, of Bloomington, Janet Templeton, Angela Templeton, Chad (Felicia) Templeton, Scott (Lyndsay) Templeton all of Greensburg and Nick Templeton of North Vernon and 14 great grandchildren. Gene was a farmer in Decatur for many years until his retirement in 1985. He also served as a Decatur Memorial Hospital Board Member for many years and was a member of the Burney United Methodist Church for more than 65 years. One of Genes happiest moments came just last week when he and his wife Norma celebrated their 69th anniversary together. There will be a private funeral service held for Genes family with burial to follow at South Park . Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice. |

Obituary: Robert Myron Templeman, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away on , 13, 2015. Bob was born on 9, 1959 in Greencastle to George L. Templeman and Gladys M. Stevens Templeman. He was a 1977 graduate of North Putnam High School, and a graduate of Indiana State University, and attended Herron Art Institute. Most recently Bob was employed with the Alexander Hotel in Indianapolis, and had been employed at University Place and Indiana University. He was preceded in death by his father, and a niece in law, Darlene Templeman. Surviving are his mother, Gladys Templeman of Roachdale; a sister, Shirley McFarland and husband Glen of Crawfordsville; two brothers, George Templeman and wife Janice of Roachdale and Dudley Templeman and wife Ann of Crawfordsville; and many beloved nieces and nephews. services will be held on , 17, 2015 at 2 P.M. at Bittles & Hurt , with Pastor Karl Sparks officiating. Thomas graduated from New London High School in 1947. He was president of his class and in the drama club. He served in the United States Navy for two years, then the United States Air Force for two years, during WWII. Tom retired from Boeing Air Craft Plant in California in 1991. He moved to Cherokee Village in Arkansas, where he lived until 2014.
