Obituary: Suk Cha Standley MiSun of Dover passed peacefully into her Lords arms May 6, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE after a courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). She was 60. Mrs. Standley was born 4, 1950 in Korea to the late Chin Taek Yim and Chom Yo Yi. She worked in food service for various companies and military posts. Mrs. Standley enjoyed reading, and travelling, especially with her husband during his Air Force career. MiSun is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, John P. Obituary: Marian V. Stancill Sissie Marian V. Stancill went home to be with the Lord on , May 23, 2014. Born in Newark, DE on 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Marguerite Reed Baylis. She was known as Sissie to many of her loved ones growing up. Mrs. Stancill was a graduate of Newark High School. She retired from the University of Delaware (Library Directors Office). Mrs. Stancill was a longtime member of First Assembly of God of Elkton, MD (now known as Five Rivers), where she was active in the Womens Ministry, and the Primetimer Senior Citizen Ministry. Mrs. Stancill enjoyed being with her friends from school and church. She also enjoyed visiting Sandy Cove in North East, MD and Willow Valley and the Amish country in Lancaster, PA. She was a gifted cook, baker and seamstress. She was an awesome Mom-Mom. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Ann Holmes and husband, Gary, Sr., of Elkton, MD, and Marjorie Lee Entler and husband, David, of Townsend, DE; grandson, Gary W. Holmes, II, of Elkton, MD; and siblings, Ruth Amoroso of Newark, DE and Dr. John C. Baylis of Voorhees, NJ. She was also Aunt Marian or Aunt Sissie to many beloved nieces and nephews. As per Mrs. Stancills wishes, graveside service will be private at Mt. Zion United Methodist in Fairfield, PA. The family wishes to thank Pastor and Mrs. Calvin Woodring of Elkton Church of God for his ministry to Mrs. Stancill this past year. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Missions or Childrens Church Fund at Elkton Church of God, 1121 Singerly Rd., Elkton, MD 21921, or to the Primetimers Senior Citizen Ministry at Five Rivers Assembly of God, 290 Whitehall Road, Elkton, MD 21921. |
