Obituary: Guillermo Supnet was born on 10, 1924 in Orence, Narvacan Ilocos Sur, Philippines, to the late Sabino Supnet and Gregoria Collo. Guillermo was the oldest, and had one younger sister, Angelita, who joined our Savior in 2000. As a young man, he dreamt of being a doctor, but his father wanted him to pursue a shorter course. Guillermo ended up pursuing Aeronautical Engineering and served as a Medic for the guerillas during World War II. He passed on his dream of becoming a doctor to his first-born son, Medardo, and in that way fulfilled it. Guillermos close friend, Antonio Tony Corrales, introduced him to his future wife and love, Concepcion Connie Cabasa, or "ling" as they fondly called each other. During Connies collegiate years, her relationship with Guillermo continued to grow. As a 2nd Lieutenant of the Philippine Air Force, Guillermo was given a mission to lead a platoon of enlisted men against government insurgents. It was a dangerous mission so before he left, he married Concepcion at Manila City Hall. Within the military he also served as a financial officer of a seven fighter Squadron. Later, Guillermo was sent to Airforce officer school at Fernando Air base for two years. At this time, Guillermo, Concepcion and their two daughters moved to Manila, which is was where their two sons were born. Guillermo and Concepcion brought four bright and beautiful children into the world - Gloria, Edna, Medardo, and Samuel, whom they adoringly called their G.E.M.S. While serving in the military, Guillermo became ill requiring prolonged hospitalization. his recovery, he decided to retire to spend more time with his family. When Guillermo retired from the Philippine Air Force, he and his family returned to Narvacan. There, Guillermo was an active participant in his community and was elected as Captain for Barrio Orence and later became the President of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Every , Guillermo took his wife to work and drove her to the closest point possible to the mountain near Nagbukel, a distant town from Narvacan, and Concepcion would walk the rest of the way. She spent the rest of the week there and Guillermo and the children picked her up on s. He spent his s hunting and attended church with his family on s. This routine continued until Concepcion was assigned to a closer school. He also managed his property and land while his wife continued her career in Academia. During this time, Guillermo grew an affinity for agriculture, and the results of this can still be found in his backyard here in California. Guillermo and Concepcion raised and supported their children until they obtained their own professional degrees. Gloria received a degree in nursing, Edna a bachelor's degree in Business, Medardo a Medical degree, and Samuel pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1973 Guillermo came to the United States and traveled between California, Arizona, and Alaska for three quarters of the year and went home to the Philippines during the holidays to be with his family. This continued until his wife joined him in 1979. chose to settle down in San Jose, CA. Guillermo acquired a steady job in Silicon Valley as a Stock Room Clerk at Applied Materials until he retired. Upon retiring, Guillermo and Concepcion would go dancing every . enjoyed dances such as the Tango and Waltz. Concepcion and Guillermo were active members of the Sampaguita Seniors group for many years. Concepcion was the chairman of the board and Guillermo was the auditor. Guillermo was very religious and attended church every with his wife. Guillermo and Concepcion also went on a fourteen-day religious pilgrimage in Europe where they visited various churches and the Holy Land. He generally enjoyed spending time with his family, dancing with his wife, watching Fox News, and tending to his garden. Guillermo's wife, Concepcion passed away in 2015. He joined her in eternal life one week before their 64th anniversary. This was no surprise to his family, as Guillermo and Concepcion were truly a match made in heaven even here on Earth. 21, 2015 would have been their 64th anniversary and because he couldn't live without her, they're spending it together now in heaven. Guillermo entered into eternal life on 14, 2015 surrounded by all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Guillermo is survived by his children and children-in-law, Gloria, Edna and Edwin, Medardo and Luz Maria, Samuel and Sandra, and Marilyn; his grandchildren, Eileen, Desiree, Ray and Sheree, Medalyn, Genelyne, Mark, Stephany, Alyssa, Geraldin, Jonathan, Wyro, Marnella, Lance, Melyssa, and Zodia; and his great-grandchildren, Douglas Jr., Tristan, Xyden, James, Kylie, Clinton, Jacob, Hunter, and Aurora. Guillermo will be remembered for his stoicism, chivalry, and dedication to his family. All who knew and loved him will miss his laughter, jokes, and humble spirit. As his grandson Mark said, He was a man of discipline and character. He had no regrets and lived a life he wanted and deserved. He has a family that wishes he could have lived forever and wife he would do anything for. His family will eternally know him as Dod. Rest in Paradise, Dod. |

Obituary: Concepcion Cabasa Supnet was born on 4, 1926 in Margaay, Narvacan Ilocusur, Philippines to Esteban & Fortunata Cabasa. Concepcion had two siblings, Jose Cabasa and Narcisa Cabalteja. She was the baby of the family. Concepcion attended Narvacan Provincial high school, where she was known as the singing sweetheart as she loved to sing and was part of the choir and sang as the lead singer of her highschool operetta. It was during high school that she was introduced to her future husband and love, or ling as she would fondly call him, Guillermo Supnet by her school mate, Antonio Corales. finishing high school she went to Manila and attended the National Teachers where she earned a certificate in Elementary Education. It was during her collegiate years that her relationship with Guillermo continued to grow. Guillermo served as an officer of the Philippine airforce as a 2nd Lieutenant. At one time he was given a mission to lead a platoon of enlisted men to go against the government insurgents. It was a dangerous mission so before he left, he married Concepcion at Manila City Hall. Guillermo was eventually stationed at Basa Air base, where he lived with Concepcion and his mother Gregoria. It was here that Gloria and Edna were born. When Guillermo was sent to the airforce officer school at Fernando Air Force base, Concepcion, Gloria and Edna moved to Manila, where Medardo and Samuel would be born. Concepcion adoringly called her four children her GEMS. Due to health reasons, Guillermo retired from the airforce. The family moved back home to Narvacan where Concepcion became an elementary school teacher and taught children in the first through fourth grades. At this time she was assigned to teach in the farthest barrio in Nagbukel located near the mountains. Every , Guillermo drove her to the closest point of the mountain that he could and Concepcion would walk the rest of the way. While working as a teacher, Concepcion also continued her education at the Divine Word of Vigan to obtain her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She continued her career in teaching for 15 years. In 1973 Guillermo came to the United States, with Concepcion following 6 years later in 1979. chose the city of San Jose to settle down. Concepcion obtained a job position with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as a product inspector and remained with the company for 10 years. Guillermo and Concepcion raised and supported their children until they obtained their own professional degrees. Gloria received a degree in nursing, Edna a bachelors degree in Business, Medardo a Medical degree, and Samuel pursued a degree in Electrical engineering. Concepcion played an integral role in helping to raise her grandchildren and was lovingly referred to as mamang. She was very proud of all her grandchildrens collegiate and professional accomplishments. She was especially proud of her great grandchildren: Douglas, Tristan, Xyden, James, Kylie, Clinton, Jacob, Hunter and Aurora. Concepcion loved to dance and every would go dancing with Guillermo. enjoyed practicing dances such as the Tango and Waltz. Concepcion and Guillermo were active members of the Sampagita Seniors group for many years. Concepcion was the chairman of the board of directors and Guillermo was the auditor. She was crowned Miss Philippines within the Organization. Concepcion was very religious and attended church every . For several years, Concepcion served as a Eucharistic Minister at Most Holy Trinity. In 1998, she and Guillermo went on a 14 day religious pilgrimage in Europe visiting the various churches. Their trip included a visit to the Holy Land. Concepcion was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. Her grace, warmth and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, Guillermo; her children, Gloria, Edna, Medardo and Samuel; her grandchildren, Eileen, Desiree, Ray, Medalyn, Genelyne, Mark, Stephany, Alyssa, Geraldine, Jonathan, Marnella, Lance, Melissa, and Zodia; and her great grandchildren, Douglas, Tristan, Xyden, James, Kylie, Clinton, Jacob, Hunter and Aurora. |

Obituary: Dena, a devoted wife, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on , 16, 2014. Dena was born in Upland, CA on May 2, 1967, where she shared her birthday with her mom, to Albert and Lena Briano. She graduated from Chino High School in 1985, and from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. Dena worked for 17 years at Fresno Community Regional Medical as a Physical Therapist. On 21, 1996, Dena married the love of her life, Robert C. Supino. Dena and Bob were inseparable and they loved each other so much. enjoyed traveling and made several trips to Europe. Dena and Bob loved the San Francisco Giants and went to many baseball games. She was so excited when they won the World Series last month. Dena loved her family and friends very much. She was always so genuinely thoughtful and had a kind, beautiful heart. Dena, losing you has left a huge empty hole in our hearts and in our lives. We will feel your presence everywhere we go and in everything we do. We love you!!! She was preceded in death by her father, Albert "Papa" Briano; father-in-law, Robert B. Supino; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives. Dena is survived by her beloved husband, Robert C. Supino; mother, Lena Briano; mother-in-law, Patricia Supino Creede; sister, Trudi Briano; brother, Albert Briano and his wife Belinda; sister, Linda de Graaf and her husband Brian; sister, Jo Ann Fiscus and her husband Jeff; sister, Heidi Green and her husband Dallas; sister-in-law, Patty Draper; step-sister, Donna Cansino and her husband Ed; step-brothers, Frank Creede and his wife Janice, and Mark Creede and their families; nieces and nephews, Joseph and wife Linda, Brieann, Derek and his wife Julie, Austin, Ethan, A.J., Kory, Jordan, Jenna, John Dexter, Tyler, Rylee and Gianna. Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair home on , 21, 2014, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church on , 22, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's .
