Obituary: John Frank Siemienczuk, 86, of San Diego, CA passed away 26, 2014. Son of Frank Siemienczuk and Mary Dunaj. He passed away at Pomerado Hospital in Poway surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Takeko (Judy) in 2008. He is survived by his children, John, Rick, Judy Cook, Robert, and his seven grandchildren all living in the San Diego area. John was born and raised in Ansonia, Connecticut. Graduating from high school he joined the US Navy spending most of his years touring the Pacific where he met and married Takeko Takajo. He retired from the US Navy in 1970, earned a degree at Grossmont and made a business of his longtime hobby of photography. He finished his working years as a probation officer in the honor camp system of San Diego . John was devoted to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. A loving and generous man, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Rosary 13 , 2015 at 6 pm, Mass 14, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Grace Church in El Cajon. Burial at El Camino Memorial Park following mass. Donations may be made to Saint Vincent de Paul Village. |
