Obituary: Patricia Irene Sanders born 30, 1948 in Corning, CA. passed away 4, 2016 in Roseville, CA. surrounded by family after a long battle with Alzheimers disease. Irene grew up in Chico, CA. graduating from Chico High School in 1966, she worked as an interior designer. She met her future husband Ron Sanders in 1961 in Chico, CA. completion of his military service with the U.S. Army they were married 25, 1969 at Fort Ord in Monterey . During the course of their near 47 year marriage they welcomed three wonderful children and two beautiful grandchildren. Throughout her life, in addition to enjoying her work, she provided a beautifully decorated home, incredibly delicious meals and every comfort to her beloved family. A woman known by her family and friends to be bright, beautiful, loving, supportive and completely selfless. She loved gardening and bird watching while camping at the coast. Some of her favorite places to visit were Bodega Dunes Campground, Olema Ranch Campground and the Oregon coast. Annual visits to Bodega Dunes Campground with her young grandchildren were especially joyful. She was preceded in death by her father Theodore Grider and her mother Thelma Grider of Chico, CA. She is survived by her loving husband Ron Sanders, her son Randy Sanders (Natalie), her granddaughter Lauren Sanders, her grandson Ryan Sanders all of Rocklin, CA., her daughter Rachel Sanders (Angie) of Wheatland CA., her son Isaac Sanders of Roseville, CA., her sister Mary Kathy Grider of Corning, CA., and her brother Marion Buzz Grider of Petaluma, CA. Thank you for attending the service today to celebrate the life of Irene, dear wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. We are eternally grateful for your love and support. |
