Obituary: George F. Stanek Baba Passed away on 17, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of 63 years to Audrey. Loving father of Dennis (Diane) and Cindy. Grandfather to Doug, Kelli (Roman), Holly and Kyle. Great-Grandfather to Eva and Avery. Brother of Don and Jim (Lois). He is further survived by his nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 21 at 1pm at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, N35W23360 Capitol Drive. Visitation will take place from 11am until the time of service at the church. George retired from the Milwaukee Police Department as a Sergeant. In Georges memory, memorials may be made out and donated to the Milwaukee Retired Police Association. |

He moved to Columbus in 1946 to start farming and retired in 1992. is survived by his wife Phyllis of Columbus; his children: Jim of Randolph, Gene (Tammy) of Lyndon Station, Merlin (Jacki) of Columbus and Cheryl of Madison; his six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his sister Helen and his brother, Theodore.
