Obituary: Anniston - services for Mr. Timothy Harry Sattler, 73, of Anniston will be , 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating, burial following at the Alabama National with full military honors. The family will receive friends , 30, 2015 from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Sattler went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on 23, 2015 at his home in Anniston. Mr. Sattler is survived by his wife, Mary Jones Sattler; daughter, Kristen (Kurt) Haneke; son, Stephen (Lora) Sattler; sister, Julie (Neil) Ginther; grandchildren, Maddie, Abby, and Sarah Haneke, and Luke, Kyle, and Paige Sattler; nieces, Wynn Brown, Megan Ginther, Natalie Schreiber, and Allison Pelech. Pallbearers will be Tom Carleson, Jason Gilbert, Elmer Bailey, Kurt Haneke, Luke Sattler and Kyle Sattler. Honorary pallbearers are Lamar Jones and Jim Paschal. Mr. Sattler was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Vivian Sattler; sister, Sue Jarvinen; brother, Martin Sattler. Mr. Sattler was a native of Wisconsin and a resident of Calhoun . He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service; a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hillcrest Building Fund. |

Obituary: Mrs. Katherine Satterwhite, age 95, of Pike Road, AL, died 16, 2017 in Montgomery, AL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM , 20, 2017 at Oak Lawn in Pensacola. services will be held at 12:00 PM , 21 at Oak Lawn . Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Satterwhite was born in Pensacola, FL to Thomas OLeary and Katherine OLeary. She was a teachers aide at Hallmark Elementary for many years. In her spare time, Mrs. Satterwhite enjoyed crocheting, making jewelry, dancing and she made the worlds best potato salad. She was known by her nicknames Catty and later as Granny K. Obituary: SATTERFIELD, JO SAWYERS Born 6, 1929 she passed away 28, 2017. Jo was a native of Birmingham, growing up in West End where she attended West End High School. She later became a graduate of Howard (Samford) where she was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. Jo met Robert Atwood (Bob) Satterfield, Jr. in high school and they were married in of 1954. a brief career as a teacher Jo devoted her life to the home, caring dearly for Bob and their two children. She and Bob were members of Chapel in The Pines Presbyterian Church for 54 years where she was active in all aspects of church life. Jo was a loving wife and mother to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin Brown (Tom) Sawyers and Clellie Harwell Sawyers, her husband of 57 years Robert Atwood (Bob) Satterfield, Jr., and her sister Frances Sawyers Brun. She is survived by sons Thomas A. Satterfield and Patrick J. Satterfield (Susan), grandchildren Elizabeth Sawyer Satterfield and Lindley Brooke Satterfield, niece Pamela Gail Satterfield and nephew John Craig Satterfield. Jo was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and friend to so many. She will be greatly missed. A private graveside service for the family was held on 30th at 2:00pm at Elmwood . A memorial service will be held on 8th at Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Bluff Park with visitation at 11:00am, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, any donations should be made to Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church. |
