Obituary: Our beloved mother, Edna May Savory, 89, of Mill Creek, passed away on , 22, 2011 at Providence Marianwood, Issaquah, Washington. Edna May was born in 1921 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of attorney Robert Jarrott and teacher and homemaker Kathleen (Tyrrell) Jarrott. She attended Chapman before marrying Robert Bruce Savory on 13, 1941 at the Wee Kirk OThe Heather in Glendale. had become sweethearts at John Marshall High School, where Bruce sat behind Edna May in English class and pulled her auburn curls. the War and Bruces Navy duty, Edna May and Bruce moved back to L.A. and bought a house on Airlane Avenue, where jets now land at LAX. Edna May took pride in each house that she and Bruce made into a home for their three daughters. She drove them to school and to ballet lessons in her green 1961 Comet and made the best potato salad in the world. When the girls left the nest, Edna May and Bruce signed up for night-school French. This ultimately led to twelve trips to Europe, each of them meticulously planned by Edna May, the original budget traveler. Edna May researched her English ancestors on these journeys, filling in the family tree without the aid of computer databases. Upon Bruces retirement in 1979, they moved to Washington State, where two daughters were living, and started a new life in Snohomish . were honored for their part in establishing the Lake Stevens Historical Museum. While Bruce restored old photos, Edna May cataloged donations and absorbed local history. As Bruces health began to fail, they moved from their Mill Creek home to Merrill Gardens. they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, 52 years of diabetes finally took their toll on Bruce, despite Edna Mays devoted care. Bruce passed on in 2002. Edna May continued on at Merrill Gardens, where she was admired for her pretty clothes and her interesting conversation. She had a remarkable recall of names, relationships and birthdays of the many friends she made on her long lifes journey. In addition to her parents and her husband, Edna May was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Anna Louise Jarrott, PhD. She is survived by her daughters Virginia Mitcham (Robert), Linda McMichael (Richard) and Anita Beery (Richard); grandchildren Rick Kelly (Claudia), Brett Scheffel (Julie), Jennifer Sander (Mark) and David Beery (Kristin); as well as four great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Svetlana, Normandy and Jason. Services will be held at 11:30 on May 14 at Valhalla Memorial Park, North Hollywood, California. Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Marianwood, where our mother received much loving care, or the American Diabetes Association. |

Obituary: Larry was born on May 22, 1924 in Saint Boniface, Manitoba to Arthur and Eugenie Savoie. Four years later his brother Robert was born. Larry and his family moved to the United States not long after the end of World War II and they all became naturalized U.S. citizens. living a few months in Washington D.C., the family moved to the San Fernando Valley in California. While living there and working in the aerospace industry he met Catherine Emily Glode and they married in 1954. Along with a loving and adventurous life, they had three children: Marc (b. 1955); Marie (b. 1957); and Carmel born in Auburn, California in 1959. moving to Auburn he worked as a Vice President for Cal Nat Airways in Grass Valley, California. In 1967 Larry moved his family to Marysville, Washington. He worked for several companies eventually working for Kenmore Air in Kenmore, Washington. He worked there until his retirement in the 1990s. While living in Marysville, he and his family were active members of St. Marys Catholic Church. He and Catherine moved to Camano Island in 1986. In 1998, he lost his beloved wife to heart disease. In 2000 he married Louise Anderson, moved back to Marysville, and was a loving and devoted husband until her death in 2014. He again became a parishioner of St. Marys Catholic Church until his death. He is survived by his son Marc, daughters Marie and Carmel, son-in-law Mike Papa, grandchildren Emily, Kyle, Danny and Molly, great grandchildren Finley, Katalina, and Grayson, and countless cousins, nieces and nephews. His final year was spent at the Marysville where he was well taken care of and doted on by many caring people. Larry was truly one of the all-time greats and he leaves a legacy of love, kindness, compassion, patience, generosity, warmth, and good humor that will be carried on by the many lives he touched. |

Obituary: Stanley Dick Savisky was born in Cle Elum, WA on 8, 1931. He passed away peacefully at home with family present on May 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores (Cook) of 54 years and two grandchildren, Jordan and Tia. Survived by his four children Kevin, Keith, Craig, and Janelle (Blanchard); 10 grand-children, one great-grandchild, and cousins Linda Lee Hall and Jeannie Precious of Cle Elum, and Warren Mattielli of Fairbanks. Dick loved a good drink in company of others; Costco; fishing; golf; dancing and neighborhood dinners. 1949 Graduate of Franklin HS and a Korean War veteran, he built the family home in Tukwila in 1966. Served on the city council, volunteer fireman, Tukwila Days and Foster Booster Club. Member of the Seattle Sons of Italy and VFW, he met up with friends on a regular basis. Our family thanks the community of neighbors, friends and Franciscan Hospice: Your presence, compassion and help will always be remembered.
