She graduated from Horlick High School, also located in Racine Wisconsin. She married her high school sweet heart, Louis Stolz, on 25, 1937. were blessed to celebrate 68 years together. Violet's greatest joys were her children, Suzanne and Robert and was devoted to being a Christian example to them, teaching them to love, be responsible and respectful and to love and serve their Lord. Her example of a life dedicated to Christian principles was an inspiration to both of them. lived in Racine, Wisconsin until 1949, when they ventured south to Bellaire, Texas.

Born and raised in the midwest, then transferred to the south, she embraced the community with love and support by making new friends, finding her church home and getting involved. Volunteering has been a lifelong commitment. The desire to volunteer in the community is about creating memories, building relationships, using your unique gifts, caring for people and supporting them in all walks of life while improving their quality of life. She epitomized this. She volunteered at MD Anderson in the clinics in charge of the Jolly Trolley, greeter and escort in the Clark Clinic, sewed robes for the patients, and during the holiday escorted Santa from room to room. Violet was a woman of commitment as she joined the Faith Lutheran Church in 1949 and was a member of the choir for 60 years. In 1994 she was honored by Mayor Bob Lanier in the Mayors Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service. She loved her Lord and her fellow men. Violet's quick wit and sense of humor was enjoyed by family and friends. Her life has been an inspiration to us all and her dedication to the Christian principles. She will be missed not only by her family, but also by those she touched with her life.

While serving his country as a member of what has come to be known as "America's Greatest Generation" he fought in the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes and the Colmar Pocket in France. For gallantry in action during military operations conducted against the German army in Belgium, on 24, 1945, Sergeant (then Private First Class) Jacque R. Stoltz was awarded the Silver Star. In Lubbock he attended religious education classes at Christ the King where he became very involved in teaching religious education. He carried these same activities to Midland when transferred there by Mobil, and had the joy of introducing the game of golf to his daughter. During this time, Jacque was also responsible for the awarding to Mobil of several patents related to automation activities for Mobil's oil and gas operations in the Permian Basin. He also taught professional development classes and presented numerous papers at professional engineering conventions throughout the country. In 1979, with all of their children raised, Jacque and Marguerite were transferred to Houston, where they set up a new home in Kingwood. There, they became active members of St. Martha's Catholic Church and Kingwood Country Club. During their almost 20 years in Kingwood, Marguerite and Jacque made numerous friends. Following Jacque's retirement in 1986, they traveled with those friends on land and by sea to Alaska, the Bahamas, Canada, the Panama Canal, Italy, and any place with a great golf course. When home, Jacque would help drive the nuns downtown and work in St. Martha's Soup Kitchen beside them. In 1998, Jacque and Marguerite returned to Midland, where Jacque worked with St. Vincent de Paul and San Juan Catholic mission until he and Marguerite eventually settled in Manor Park.
