She was born on 29, 1935 in Depew, Oklahoma to Sterling Rainwater and Maggie Arzeala Younger Rainwater. Winnie was a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 8787 in Austin, Texas. She loved to garden and paint. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Teague and her daughter, Catherine Parlin. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, Clarence M. Obituary: A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Vergie Louise Stockton at 10:30 am on , 4, 2017 at South Hills Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Pastor Chris Wright will be officiating. Inurnment will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Haughton, LA at a later date. Vergie was born on 9, 1923 and went to be with the Lord on 26, 2017 in Bossier City, LA. Vergie was a hairstylist over 40 years, mostly in the Ft. Worth area. Vergie was preceded in death by husband, James Stockton; son, Kenneth Barksdale; daughter, Carolyn Gregory; her parents, Ager & Vertie Archer and all of her siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kelly Talley, Shannon Barlow (Marlin), Layne Gregory (Leah); great grandchildren, Ashley Talley, Alexander Gregory, Trey Barlow, Jacob Gregory and Joshua Gregory; great great grandchildren, Christopher Gentry and Jackson Tewell; her companion, Fred Nordquist, son-in-law, Jack Gregory and a host of nieces and nephews. Obituary: Roy G. Stockton, born 12, 1917 in Metairie, La. died on 13 2010 in Houston where he had lived since the age of six. He was President of the Purchasing Agents Association in 1961 while with Reed International. He chaired several committees and conducted the first Purchasing Seminar in the Houston Association. He was first and second Vice President and Director for National Affairs. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Member Award in 1957; Life Member Purchasing Management Association of Houston, Inc. Mr. Stockton belonged to the Knights of Columbus; Houston Power Squadrons; Boating Trades Association; AMS American Metals Association and was a lifetime honorary deputy sheriff. In 1966, he founded Stockton Boat Lifts Inc, Stockton Marketing Inc, and Stockton . He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Stockton. He is survived by his daughter, Shela Bliss, grandson Monti Miller, and great-grandchildren Tiffany Woody and Dain Miller and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
