Obituary: Nancy M. Stockdale, 78 of Pasadena, Texas, went to be with the Lord on 4, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Nancy was born 23, 1937 in Painesville, Ohio to Frank and Wilma Mate. She attended schools in Lake , Ohio and was married to Cecil Stockdale on 29, 1956. moved with their four children to Pasadena, Texas in 1968. Nancy was a long time member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dickinson, Texas (formerly Austin Ave. Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas.) Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 plus years, sons, Troy Stockdale of La Porte, Todd Stockdale and wife Sherri of Deer Park, daughters, Jill Rice of Pasadena, Judy Hillhouse and husband Ray of Nacogdoches, eight grandchildren, Lindsey Gregory and husband Tommy, Matthew Stockdale, Heath Stockdale and wife Carla, Lauren Rice, Zachary Stockdale, Cody Rice, Tyler Johnson, Kaylee Johnson, three great grandchildren, Teagan, Korben and Kira, brother Donald Mate, Sister Diane Mate of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and Sister Marilyn Swank. Obituary: Anita Jo Stockburger, 88, of Waco passed away on , May 10, 2015 at a hospital in Waco. Anita was born on 13, 1926 in Mills , Texas to Sydney Loid and Virgie Mae Hart Hancock. Anita was a popular girl growing up. She was a member of the Gatesville High School cheerleading squad and played the lead role in her senior year play. During World War II, she served our country by supporting the war effort as a Dental Hygienist at Fort Hood. On 23, 1944, she married the love of her life, Robert E. Stockburger, Jr. She committed the rest of her life to being a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She and Robert had five children together and enjoyed a long, happy marriage. Anita is preceded in death by her parents Sydney Loid and Virgie Mae Hart Hancock, her brother Terry Hancock, great-grandson Zayne Wade, and her beloved husband Robert Stockburger. Marguerite always had beautiful plants and gardens and flowers and her hummingbirds were inspirational. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved to tease them and play with them and love on them. Obituary: John Stockbauer, Jr., of Victoria, Texas passed away , 30, 2017 at the age of 84. He was born 23, 1933 in Victoria to John and Tillie Stockbauer. John graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1950 as the valedictorian of his class. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force First Class in communications. his fathers passing, Johnny became president of Victoria Farm Equipment. He rarely missed a day of work in his life and his goal through his illness was to get back to work He had a reputation for being an honest businessman and in his book, a hand shake was your word. You could set your watch by him on his routine trips to the bank and post office. He had a quick wit and a very dry sense of humor. He enjoyed sharing jokes with people and putting a smile on their face. He looked forward to s when he would load his stuff up in the truck and he and mom would ride out to their place at Schroeder and check on their cows and piddle around the place. He loved being outside, especially ransplanting plants from one location to another. Over the years being a farm equipment dealer, the dealership earned many outstanding awards, due to his and his employees hard work and dedication. He also was awarded individual awards from the Soil and Water Conservation Office, Victoria Chamber of Commerce and Victoria 4H. When presented with one of the awards he was described as a silent giant, which was a perfect description of him. He never liked a lot of attention and he was a very humble man. He was one of the founders of The South Texas Farm and Ranch Show (1982) and has been involved with it every year since. A very heartwarming hank you to Lisa Montez for taking care of mom. Another special hank you to the wonderful group of people on the 6th floor skilled nursing unit at Citizens Medical - our family truly appreciates what you all did for our dad and family. John was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anna Westerman. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gladys; sons, John Stockbauer III (Marty), Jimmy Stockbauer, Jeffry Stockbauer, Jerry Stockbauer (Loretta) and Jason Stockbauer (Tina); daughter, Jennifer Charbula (Kenny); grandchildren, Dawn Stockbauer, Candace Smith (Jason), Lacey Irby (Blaine), John Stockbauer IV (Jayde), Stephen Stockbauer (Vicki), Hunter Stockbauer, Ashley Stockbauer, Garrett Stockbauer, Zane Charbula and Cole Charbula; great grandchildren, Kayden Petru, Rylan Petru, Briley Smith, Olivia Stockbauer and baby Irby; sisters, Gladys Eisman and Kathryn Kusak. Obituary: Susanne Bradley Stockard, 60, went to be with her Lord and the angels on 9, 2014 in Houston, Texas, after a year-long battle with cancer. Susanne was a Christian from a long-time Methodist ministerial family and was confident that she was going to be with her Lord and the angels, having seen the bright lights and angels in her dreams. She was ready. Susanne was born on 30, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Osborn Walker Bradley, Jr. and Edna Floreine Crater Bradley. She attended Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, graduating from Spring Woods High School in Houston. She attended Southern Methodist University. Susanne enjoyed working with people as a production technologist for Amoco Production until the mid-80s and as a receptionist for the UT Graduate of Biomedical Science until the mid 90s. Then she became a housewife, enjoying 20 years at home with days out and around town. Susanne met David Myrick Stockard at Fairhaven United Methodist Church in 1976. were married on 20, 1979, spending 38 years together. Her biggest joy was raising pug dogs: Solomon, Sheba, Gracie, Cuddles, and BJ. She enjoyed shopping and outings with friend and former workmate Marilyn Nixon. Susanne was a charter member of Mission Bend UMC. David and Susanne planned to retire to a family home in Meridian, TX, but the cancer delayed the final retirement and move. Susanne so much had looked forward to life in the country and sitting in the back yard, with her pugs. Special thanks to the cancer specialists at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, St. Lukes Hospital, and MD Anderson Hospital. tried so hard, but the cancer persisted. Also special thanks to the staff of Houston Hospice Blue Team and the nurses of At Your Side-Katy/Far West, for such compassionate care during the so very short at-home hospice time at the end. Susanne is now at home in heaven and has no more pain. Survivors: Husband, David; sister, Claire Ann Stegman of Fort Worth; niece, Stephanie Stegman; sister-in-law, Jane Murphey of Meridian; niece and nephews Ann Murphey, Robert Murphey, Michael Murphey, and David Murphey; and long-time, close friend Marilyn Nixon. Visitation will be held on , 13, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks . Services will be held on , 14, 2014 at Mission Bend United Methodist Church, 3710 Hwy 6 South, Houston, Texas, 77082 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in Meridian, Texas.
