Obituary: Dottie Stinson, born May 21, 1944 in Cisco, Texas went home to be with The Lord on 13, 2015. Dottie (Grandmommi) is preceded in death by her parents, Sol and Loretta Kanady. The most important thing in the world to Dottie was her family. She is survived by her wonderful and devoted husband of 49 years, Bob Stinson (Grandpoppy), her children, Tonya and husband Dave, Kim & husband Todd, Kevin, Karla & husband Rick. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Britni & husband Josh, John, Matt, Bradley & wife Shelbey, Victoria, Candace, Travis, Kylie, Jakin, Tonya, Christine and husband Hank, great grand children, Jaelyn, Paityn, Annesley, Adelyn, Ryder, Aleiya, and Zaley. Dottie also has 5 loving siblings, Warnie Kanady and wife Bonnie, Lina Bullock and Husband Earl, Judy Shackelford and Husband Phillip, Jimmy Kanady and sister-in-law JoAnn Ward and Husband Ed. Dottie had so many friends and family that loved her. She was the cornerstone of our family, and the rock we all leaned on. She will be greatly missed. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on 16, 2015 at Roselawn in Seagoville, Texas. Services will begin at 10am 17, 2015 at Pointview Baptist Church in Combine, Texas. Obituary: Donald Lee Stinson passed away 24, 2012 from cancer at the age of 86. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on 31, 1925. He was good-natured, generous, and loved to tease. He married Mary Elizabeth Cooper on 14, 1947. He graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Business and later earned Masters degrees in Education and in Business Administration. He served for over 27 years in the Air Force and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his career he was stationed in the Philippines, Korea, Germany, Turkey, and numerous bases in the United States. His two favorite assignments were in Izmir, Turkey and teaching Squadron Officers School in Montgomery, Alabama. retiring from the Air Force he worked for the Texas Department of for 11 years and also served on the board of the Ft. Bend Womens Refuge. He was a Mason for more than 60 years. Dons faith was a defining value throughout his life. He was a founding member of the Rolling Oaks Christian Church where he served in numerous ways over the years. He was unfailingly generous in every way with his family, his church, his friends and his neighbors. He was an accomplished athlete and enjoyed playing golf, table-tennis, paddleball and racquetball. He was the table-tennis champion of the Pentagon for two years and he won numerous gold and silver medals in racquetball competing in state and nationwide Senior Olympic tournaments. He enjoyed going to the gym and playing racquetball until the age of 85. He was also an avid card player and spent many happy hours playing with his bridge group, his church group and his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Elizabeth; daughter, Susanne and husband Martin Malles; son, Steve Stinson and wife Jeanne; son, Mark Stinson and wife Karen; step-grandsons, Kyle and Kelly Scott; grandchildren, Michael, Jake and Megan; brother, Bob Stinson; sisters, Mariwanda Forkner and Betty Joyce Beason; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on , 6, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary North. SERVICE TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2012 9:00 A.M. Obituary: Coby Lane Stinson, 20, of Colorado City, passed away unexpectedly on , 9, 2017. He and his twin sister were born 4, 1997, in San Angelo, TX to Joe and Allison Stinson. Coby spent most of his life in Colorado City, graduating in 2016 from Westbrook High School where he was a regional qualifier for the track team, and played football and golf. school Coby went to work for Bartlett-Cocke Construction based out of Austin for a year before going to work at Keystone Pipeline out of Coahoma where he worked for the past two to three months as a pipeliner. Coby was a kind-hearted, fun-loving soul, who loved his family with all his heart. He was a fine son, a great brother, and a good uncle, always making sure to be protective of his sisters, and teaching his twin sister everything he could. He was the type of guy who liked to have fun, loved the ladies, worked hard, and was considered to be a Jack-of-all-Trades. He made friends with ease and honesty was key to him. He always made sure to give a good, firm handshake and look people in the eyes when he talked to them. Coby was very good at working with his hands and could build just about anything. He was an exceptional welder and a natural at problem solving, with the exception of keeping his truck or anything with wheels from getting stuck in the mud. In his spare time Coby could be seen out playing golf, mudding in his truck, and repairing anything. He spent much time with his family who would frequently be at his Nannie and Papa's house. Everyone knew when Coby was coming because he believed the louder, the better when it came to vehicles. His wittiness, great hugs, and big smile will be missed by all. Coby is survived by his parents Joe and Allison Stinson of Colorado City, his twin sister Courtney Stinson of Colorado City and his sister Lesli Morgan and her children Tyson Morgan and Alexia Samarripa also of Colorado City, and by his dog Buddy. Also surviving are; his paternal grandparents Bill and Glenda Stinson of Colorado City, his maternal grandmother Jackie Wetzel of Colorado City, his aunts Sharon Lewis of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Sherry Berry and husband Brent of Killeen, and his cousins Tristan Hanks, Lauren Walters, Brien Berry, Chris Lewis, and Kristen Hollingsworth. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Harold Wetzel and by his cousin Nicholas Hanks. The funeral service for Coby will be held on , 16, at 10 am at the 22nd and Austin Church of Christ of Colorado City with the burial to follow at the Colorado City .
