Obituary: Billy Roy Stamper, 55, passed away on 21, 2016, surrounded by his family in Terrell, Texas. He was born on 27, 1960 to Bud and Willie Stamper in Wills Point, Texas. Growing up Billy was very close with his family. He always took care of his siblings. He was very dedicated to his family and friends. When Billy first met his future wife, Robin Harrison, he wanted to impress her. In one attempt he took a sharpie marker and wrote her name all over his 1966 Chevy Malibu, also known as “chicken coup”. He was always such a gentlemen. On 3, 1980 Billy married her and they were wonderfully married for 36 years. Born from this union were two kids, Nathaniel and Angella. Billy worked for L and G Bearing with his brothers, father, and other members of the family, where he was a machinist for almost 17 years. that he went to work as a maintenance tech specialist for Flexible Foam, now called Innocor; He worked here for 22 years where he has left his legacy of many items he built for the companies use. He was really a Jack of all trades though. Billy was a hard worker, he’d work 24/7 if needed. Even when he was home he would be working on something. He loved to work on cars and would often be the first one to lend a hand if anyone was having any car troubles, he could fix any car out there. Whether it was on the side of the road or at their house. He loved people and wanted to do anything he could to be able to help anyone in need. “If you needed him, he was there”. To his family Billy was also known as a great provider. Billy like to make people feel loved. He could always make you feel at home, his doors were always open. Billy did many different things in his free time. He enjoyed going to parties and being their disc jockey, just for fun. His favorite music was country. He liked listening to country music, being with his family, and smoking on his smoker. Billy would always make enough food for an army. He wanted everyone to be able to enjoy good food. The family even had to-go boxes ready for every meal. Every year Billy hosted “Billy’s Tater Fest”. There he would have fun, cookout, and play games. It was always something he looked forward to. He also enjoyed fishing and camping. He was an outdoors man. Billy was always laughing. He was a known prankster, he just wanted to make people laugh and have a good time doing it. She cherished her pets. Lady Bug and her puppy Gus, both beautiful, loving Black Cocker Spaniels, were her fur babies. Always at the ready with a good joke, she grew up to be a humorous person.
