Obituary: Sandra Stackowicz, 65, was born to A.J. and Joyce Rush on 12, 1949 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Sandra passed away on 3rd 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stackowicz and her parents. Sandra is survived by her sons Richard Thomas and Jimmy Stackowicz and wife Jenny; grandchildren Bailey and Zachary Stackowicz and Alic and Teagahn Thomas; sisters Linda Adams and husband Jerry, Louise Wheat and husband Jim and many nieces and nephews. She was employed by Hallf Associates for fourteen years. Sandra loved and was devoted to her job. She cherished her Halff family and was blessed to have such wonderful caring friends. Sandra adored her sons and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time wth them and other family members. Her sisters and nieces were always a big part of her life. Sandra had many hobbies and artistic abilities. She loved to sew and spent many hours hand quilting. She was always eager to share her creations with family and friends. Sandra also had the gift of writing. She referred to herself as a closet writer and often wrote of personal experiences. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and wit. She always had a zinger on the tip of her tongue. Her wit was often surprising and she could always make us laugh. She had a loving heart and was always ready to help a friend by listening and offering words of advice based on her past experiences. Sandra enjoyed golf, football and softball. She was very competitive and could hold her own on the golf course. She loved the Cowboys and was often wearing her Emmett Smith jersey on game day. Sandra was always the loudest Mom cheering on her sons and grandsons at their games. Sandra loved to travel and cruise. She sailed on twelve cruises with Linda and Jerry. She was always the life of the party and made new friends with passengers and crew members each time. She communicated with many from all states and other countries thru email. Her greatest joy was playing the slot machines and lady luck was usually with her. Sandra won several jackpots. Sandra was very strong willed and often stubborn as a mule ( as her Dad would say). This is how she was able to battle and fight her life threatening illness for over three years. She fought chronic pain and chemo, but continued to work for as long as possible. During the last weeks of her life, she would use that same strong will and strength to make he best of each day and visit with loved ones. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 6, 2014, at 2:00pm Laurel Land . Visitation for family and friends with be held 1 hour prior to service. Obituary: Lillian W. Stacker Lillian Audrey Williamson Stacker, 90 of Odessa passed away , 14, 2011 in Deerings & Rehab in Odessa. She was born in Mead, Oklahoma on 12, 1920 to Joseph Jackson Williamson and wife, Mary Nell Tate Williamson. The family came to the plains of Texas and settled in the Ralls area where her father farmed for many years. As a youngster Lillian attended Four Mile Lake School between Ralls & Crosbyton during elementary school years and then graduated Ralls High School in 1939. She & her sister, Glenda Williamson bought the Corner Café in Ralls and ran it until 1943, when they moved to Sherman where Lillian worked in the Hardwicke-Etter Defense Plant. Shortly after his return from service to his country in the U.S. Army during World War II she married her childhood sweetheart, Claude Henry Mutt Stacker in Ralls, Crosby , Texas in 1946. The couple had one son, Kenneth Wayne Stacker born Feb. 1, 1950 in Ralls, TX. Lillian had come from Post to be with her mother because of her husbands work schedule. She taught her little brother Tommy to play guitar while there for which he is very grateful. Lillian was a devoted member of the Highland United Methodist Church where she was a member since 1953; she was a member of Friendship School Class and served as class treasurer. Lillian also enjoyed membership in the United Methodist Women, Naomi Circle, where she had served as secretary. Lillian loved her church family very much and talked often about them. She enjoyed many friendships in the area with WMU women. An excellent seamstress Lillian enhanced many lives with her alterations and the beautiful garments she created. Her parents, J.J. and Nell Williamson, husband Mutt Stacker, son Kenneth Wayne Stacker, sister, Glenda Eunabeth Williamson, brothers, Troy Wayne Williamson, Alfred Williamson, Kenneth Euel Williamson, nephews Troy Lynn Williamson and Jo Brooks Williamson preceded her to her heavenly home. She is survived by one brother Tommy Williamson and his wife Margie of Pecos, TX. Services will be at 10 a.m. on 16, 2011 at Highland Methodist Church in Odessa, TX with nephews Matthew Williamson and Mark Williamson officiating. The singing will be by her family. All of this is as she requested. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Danny Williamson of Amarillo, TX, Mark Williamson of Katy, TX, Matthew Williamson of Pecos, TX, Mace Williamson of Bryan TX, and Miles Williamson |
