Obituary: Claude Soward passed away , May 14, 2013, at age 95 in Arlington, surrounded by his family. Memorial service: and visitation at 12:30 p.m. in Moore Chapel. Interment: 9:15 a.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National with military honors. Memorials: in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Dallas, Texas. Claude was born Sept. 10, 1917, in Clarksville. He married the love of his life, Venie Alawine, in 1939. Claude retired from the United States Air Force in 1970 as a chief master sergeant after 30 years of service. The last 12 years of his service were with the Office of Special Investigation. He was a member of Scottish Rite and a 50-year member of the Masonic Order. Obituary: Yvonne Sovocool 1927 - 2017 Yvonne (Bass) Sovocool, aged 90, was lifted from this life and into the arms of our Lord peacefully on , 7, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving and caring family. Yvonne was one of nine children born in Mississippi to Henry Buford Bass and Laura (Parish) Bass. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Stanford Eugene Sovocool of Houston, Texas. She is survived by her sister, Jaynie Dean of Hideaway, TX; her daughter, Shirley Horn of Arlington, TX; three granddaughters: Prudence Horn of North Richland Hills, TX, Renee Horn of Arlington, TX, and Leslie Fitzgerald of Houston, TX; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cherished extended family members. Yvonne is loved deeply by her family and friends. She always made each and every one of them feel special and loved. She had a beautiful smile, an easy laugh and would brighten the day of her many friends and family or the passing stranger with a kind word. She loved to help and serve all that she could, touching everyone she met. She will be forever loved and greatly missed, truly an inspiration to us all. She was active in her church community. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, playing the organ, painting, dancing, gardening and playing card and board games. She was skilled and talented in all things creative and artistic, including an award winning member of the Society of Watercolor Artists of Fort Worth, TX. The funeral will be on , 14, 2017, at Waltrip , 1415 Campbell Road, Houston, Texas 77055. Visitation beginning at 11am and the service will be held in the chapel at 2pm. Obituary: Robert Eugene Sovil, affectionately known as "Bob", 81 of Austin, Texas passed peacefully from this earth 14, 2016 at his home of natural causes. He was born on 4, 1935 in Huntington, West Virginia and was the younger of two children of Howard and Madeline Sovil. Bob entered the Air Force at age 17 on 11, 1952 and was honorably discharged on 27, 1956. During his service to our country, he received the National Defense Service and Good conduct medal. Shortly after his discharge he married in 1958 and had three sons. Bob was an entrepreneur all of his life, but his true success happened when he and his son Mike opened the Water Jug in Round Rock, Texas in 1984. He was a well- known and respected business man for 32 years, until his passing. Bob was a people person, and loved his parrot pretty bird, almost as much as he loved having his ice cream at night. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann of San Antonio; three sons: Bobby Sovil, Jr. of Taylor, Texas, Mike and Darla Sovil of Round Rock, Texas, David and Jerrie Sovil of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren: Natalie Guara, Justin Sovil, Matthew Lawson, Brian Sovil from Odessa, Texas and Bobby Sovil of Taylor, Texas; and 6 great grandchildren.
