Obituary: God blessed us when Rebecca Ann Soto was born 13, 1956 in Bonham, TX. She passed away after battling cancer for 17 years on Sept. 20, 2010 in Garland, TX. She was a courageous fighter throughout her life, and it was truly a miracle we were able to have her for so long. Rebecca was always smiling and loved people very much. Above all, she treasured her three sons. We will all miss her dearly and wait for the day when we can all be together again. She is joined in Heaven with her parents, Hope and Emilio J. Reyes and birth father, Alejandro Alvarez. Rebecca is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edward G. Soto; sons, Emilio Soto his wife, Renee and their daughter, Isabella Soto, Phillip Soto, and Steven Soto and his wife, Andi; sister, Carmen Albiar her husband, Bobby and their sons, Bobby Jr. and Ricky Albiar; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, , Sept. 23 at Sparkman/Crane in Dallas with the Rosary recited at 7 PM. A Mass will take place 10 AM, , Sept. 24 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Dallas 75228. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sarcoma Alliance at www.sarcomaalliance.org. under the direction of Sparkman-Crane , Dallas, TX. |

Obituary: Raul C. Soto, age 81, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, went into the hands of our Lord, on , 18, 2007 peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born on 4, 1926 in San Antonio, he married Ramona Rios on 11, 1949. He served in the Army during WWII. He retired from B.A.M.C. after 38 years of faithful service as a cook and also worked for nine years at BrownÂs Mexican Restaurant. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Ramona R.; daughters: Rose Mary Soto, Elizabeth S. Garrison and husband, Bryan W.; and Martha S. Dietzel and husband, David T.; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; brother, Rudy C. Soto; and sister, Gloria E. Soto.
