She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Sonnier; sister, Helen Thibodeaux; brothers, Edward Martin, J.E. Martin; and nephew, Dale Thibodeaux. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sonnier Craigen of Port Neches, TX; grandson, Brian Craigen of Lakewood, CO; son, Chad Sonnier and his wife Alex; step grandson, Christopher DeReinzi of Wildwood, TX; daughter, Myra Bates and Steve Sides of Lakewood, CO; son, Troy Sonnier of Port Acres, TX; grandson, Caleb Sonnier, great grandson, Brock Sonnier; grandson, Joshua Sonnier and his wife Ashlyn of Lumberton, TX step granddaughter, Misty Elliot; and step grandsons, Payton Elliot, Dalton Elliot, Carson Buesing, Ethan Buesing, Layne Ford of Vidor, TX; step granddaughter, Heather Humberson of Lumberton, TX; sister-in-law, Rita Martin of Lake Arthur, LA; niece, Carleen Ballenger and her husband Allen of Lake Arthur, LA; their sons, Craig Martin and his wife Ashley of Rayne, LA, Cody Ballenger of Lake Arthur, LA; their daughter, Candice Guy and her husband Jeremy; their son, Griffin of Lafayette, LA; and niece, Tina Martin of Lake Arthur, LA.
