Obituary: Robert David Bob Snodgrass, 62 of Bryan, Texas passed away peacefully on , 7, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee. Bob was born on May 10, 1952 in Waco, TX to Lt. Col. James and Charlene Snodgrass. He is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret and five children \ son David Meyer, wife Nola; daughter Terri Walton, husband Derek; daughter Jenny Schnautz, husband Brad; son Bob Snodgrass and his girlfriend Crystal; and daughter Annie Mulligan, husband Mark; eleven grandchildren \ Mac, Nena, Abby, Mary, Lucy, Reagan, Evan, Isaac, Will, Zoomer and Hart; his mother Charlene and two brothers, Jack (Esther) and Jim (Jan). He was preceded in death by his father. A consummate storyteller, we loved to hear him talk about growing up in a military family while traveling through Europe and Japan. Upon his familys return to the States, he attended school in Springfield, Virginia before moving to Coleman, Texas, where he graduated from Coleman High School in 1970. Following graduation, Bob went on to get a business degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He joined Texas Cotton Growers, Inc. in 1991, and was blessed to work in an industry that held to Christian values. Over the years he developed many lifelong friends who shared in those beliefs. He was known by them for his leadership, work ethic and wit. For over 15 years he held offices from delegate to secretary to president on the boards for the Texas Agricultural Co-op Council (TACC), Cotton Growers Warehouse Association (CGWA) and National Cotton Council. Bob is perhaps best known for the years he spent delighting children of all ages at JJs Snow Cone Stand. However, nothing compares to the joy and love he had for his family. Bob was a true patriarch, supporting his family at every function and stage of life with his big heart, humor and strong faith. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. , 12, 2015 at Memorial Chapel, 1515 South Avenue, Bryan, Texas. Services for Bob will be at Central Baptist Church, 1991 FM 158 Road, Station, Texas, on , 13, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with his oldest son David officiating. Obituary: Katherine (Katie) Nora Snodgrass, 22 years old, was taken suddenly from this world on 6, 2016. Though her life was short, she lived it fully, was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Katie was born on 27th, 1993 in Littleton, Colorado. She is the beloved daughter of Clark and Beth Snodgrass. A loving and close-knit family, Katie is survived by her parents, Clark and Beth Snodgrass, her sister Rachel, and her brother Daniel. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Isabelle Deter of Georgia, 16 aunts and uncles, 18 first cousins, 16 second cousins, and a community of friends that deeply loved her. Katie was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Nora & Mike Snodgrass, and maternal grandfather, Arthur S. Deter, Jr. As a youngster Katie participated in Girl Scouts, swim team, gymnastics, and competitive cheer. In high school she was active in HOSA ( Occupations Students of America), cross country, cheerleading, and National Honor Society. Katie could do it all! She was well-rounded and was frequently recognized for her outstanding academic achievements. Katie attended McNeil High School in Austin, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State School in May 2015. Katie had a love for life and had a passion for making a difference for others which led her to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse. Whether it be as a Girl Scout, cheerleader, nurse, or animal rescuer, she always gravitated toward encouraging and supporting others. From the homeless woman to a dying patient, she made people feel valued and went the extra mile to positively impact their lives. She said it best in her own words, "We're all on this Earth together, and it's our job to help each other out!" Katie brought fun and energy to any room she entered. She was known for her radiant smile, quick wit, and a mischievous sense of humor. Although Katie was always up for a new adventure and enjoyed her vacations with her family to Colorado, her absolute favorite place was home with her family and friends.
