He was known for his love of square and round dancing, flying planes, Dallas Cowboy football, working out and boxing. George was very active in his church, Eastminster Presbyterian Church, formerly known as Calvary Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Madelyne Singletary. George is survived by his daughter, Susan Rinehart and husband, William; granddaughters, Brittini Heather Rinehart (Zach) and Virginia Rose Rinehart-Singleton (Cody) and great-grandson, Aiden Alan Crawford.
