Obituary: Beatrice Bea Shaner, age 89, went to be with our Lord on , 22, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. Bea was a loving and devoted mother and also a gifted musician, artist and caregiver of family members during their time of need. She loved Jesus, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents; Oscar and Lula Crace Salyer, sisters; Effie Salyer, Edith McConkey and Florence Salyer; brothers, Oscar ÂBuddy and Alton Perry. Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Nancy C. and husband Barry Ream; sisters, Roberta Paul, Dianna Penwell and husband Paul; sister in law, Barbara Salyer; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Obituary: Patricia Averille Shane passed from this world surrounded by her family in the early morning hours of , 19, 2014. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana 25, 1924. She was 89 years young. She is survived by her five children; daughter and son in law, Phyllis P. and Steven Huffstutler of Southlake, Tx.; son, Robert N. Porter, II of Denton, Tx; son and daughter-in- law, Scott A. and Ann Porter of Sanger, Tx.; son and daughter-in- law, Michael S. and Jackie Porter of New Sweden, Tx.; and, son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey M. and Janice Porter of Tool, Tx. She had 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and three nieces. Additionally, she is survived by her lifelong friends, Phyllis Adair Holleyfield of Dallas, Tx (for whom her daughter is named), and Jean Adair Thompson of Waxahachie, Tx. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Neva Elizabeth Womble Boyde and Raymond Shane; her only sibling, David R. Shane; a grandson, Jacob Travis Porter; and the father of her children, Ernest M. Porter. Patricia was a huge part of every life she encountered. She was a graduate of North Dallas High School and attended as many of the Bulldog reunions as she was able. She worked for attorneys in Denton, Tx. until the age of 80. She always felt they were her sons too, and never failed to give them her motherly advice. She was Past Matron and lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 259 in Denton, Texas. She received her 50 year certificate in 2014. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team, and never missed a televised game. It was common knowledge to everyone not to phone her while a game was playing because of her whooping and hollering. She loved growing her tomatoes in the summer, tending to her houseplants, and taking care of her beloved pets. She loved to cook and read, especially old cookbooks. She stayed up to date with local and world news by reading the newspaper everyday with her magnifying glass, cover-to-cover. However, she felt her greatest accomplishment in this life was raising her five children. She was always so proud to be their mother. Graveside services will be held in Dallas at Sparkman/Hillcrest on , 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., with inurnment next to her brother. Obituary: Luanne Marie Shane passed away in her home morning at the age of 68. Luanne was born on 31st, 1945 to Chuck & Mary Seelig. She grew up in the SF Bay area with her twin brothers Martin and Michael. She moved to Beaverton Oregon in 1971 where she raised her two daughters. Luanne married the love of her life, Terry Neil Shane, in 1990. Luanne & Terry spent time watching their 4 grandsons grow up and spent lots of time at their home away from home in Lincoln City, where she passed peacefully. Luanne will be remembered for her passion for cooking and love of family. She was always the life of the party, and had a laugh & smile that was contagious. She is survived by her husband, Terry Shane, and two daughters, Angi Olson Malouf and Cara Heath, as well as her grandsons, Joshua, Marcus, Alexander and Dylan. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on , 30th from 12-4 PM at her daughters home in Banks Oregon. |
