Obituary: FORT WORTH -- Frank T. "Dub" Senyard Sr., 80, passed away peacefully at home , Feb. 9, 2016, after a gallant struggle with heart disease. Frank was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Fort Worth. He loved to work on cars, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed growing hot peppers. Most of all, he loved his family. He worked for Convair and Bell Helicopter, and left Bell to open a paint and body shop in 1980. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a longtime member of Handley Masonic Lodge and Moslah Shrine Temple. Thanks to Dr. Timothy Hadden, Aaron, Dr. Mohamed Kahn, Nurse Beverly and the staff at Covenant Hospice. Frank was preceded in death by a son, Frank Jr.; mother, Billie Sours; and father, J.W. Senyard. Survivors: Wife, Betty; daughter, Susan; son, Mike; sister, Elizabeth Ann; granddaughters, Tarah, Tristen and Mecca; two great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. |

Obituary: under the direction of Restwood & Memorial Park, Clute, Texas.Virginia Joy Petry Wroth Senturia, 84, from Lake Jackson, Texas passed away on 26, 2014 in Houston. She was born in Sample, TX to Harvey and Myrta Sample Petry, and was a loving sister to Harvey Claude Petry and Barbara Jean Petry Hinze, who all preceded her in death. She grew up in Corpus Christi, where she met and married her Navy pilot, William Fabyan Wroth on 5, 1950. were married 30 years until his passing in 1981. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Del Mar Corpus Christi, but chose instead to raise her four children. In 1986 she married Harvey Senturia, until his passing in 2007. She is survived by Susan Virginia Wroth Leigh (Stephen), Deborah Lynn Wroth Ginn (Norman), Priscilla Ann Wroth Borchardt (David), and John Stewart Wroth. She adored her six grandchildren, often quoting a saying, If Id known how much fun grandchildren were, Id have had them first! are, Travis Ginn, Valerie Ginn McEwin, Robert Carpenter, Max Borchardt, Andrew Wroth and Kimberly Wroth. She was also recently blessed with twin great-grandsons, Nathan Kyle and Elliott James McEwin. Joy was very active in the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson, TX, where she also taught school. She was a member of The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and was the chaplain of the Ft. Velasco Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved dancing and was a member of the Lake Jackson Promenaders. She was a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout den mother. Services will be at the Restwood in Clute, TX on 30, 2014. Visitation 11:00 am, Service 1:00 pm. Pall bearers are sons-in-law Stephen Leigh, Norman Ginn, and David Borchardt, and grandsons Travis Ginn, Robert Carpenter, Andrew Wroth, and Max Borchardt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. |

Obituary: James J. Sentner Jr.,74, passed away peacefully on 27 in his home surrounded by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty Ann, his children, John (Kimberley) and Mary Jo (J.T.), five grandchildren and three step-granchildren, extended family and devoted friends. A skilled trial lawyer, Jim practiced aviation, maritime and international law at Haight, Gardner, Poor & Havens from 1966 to 1995 and thereafter with Gardere, Wynne until 2013. He received the Burton Award for Legal Achievement in 2004 and was honored at the Congressional Library in Washington, D.C. Jim was an avid golfer and biker who participated in the MS150 for the past 12 years despite his illness. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Recitation of The Holy Rosary will commence at 7:00 p.m. on , 1, 2014, at Memorial Oaks . The Mass will be celebrated on , 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston.
