Obituary: Paul Schauwecker passed away at his home in Arlington, Texas on 26, 2016. He was surrounded by his family. Paul was born 24, 1923 in Clay City, Indiana. He graduated from Clay City High School in 1941 and became an Aviation Cadet in 1942, graduating as a 2d. Lt. in 1943. He flew 30 combat missions out of England prior to the DDay invasion on 6, 1944. WWII he attended Indiana University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 1948. While at IU he met and married Lydia (Jo) Bingaman, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Michael, and a daughter, Paula. Also surviving are two grandsons, Andrew and Eric Lebowitz, and two granddaughters, Jessica and Natalie Schauwecker. Upon graduation from IU in 1948 Paul was recalled to active duty in the Air Force. He and his family were stationed all over the world including Florida, Illinois, Alaska, Morocco, New York, Illinois, Japan, Hawaii and Louisiana. He retired while stationed at Barksdale Force Base in Louisiana in 1968 with the rank of Lt. Col. Paul received an MBA degree from Louisiana Tech in 1968 and a Doctor of Business Administration degree in 1973, also from Louisiana Tech. His teaching career began in 1968 and continued until 1990. He retired from Louisiana Tech but also taught at Rollins and the Florida Institute of Technology. He especially enjoyed studying and teaching Economics. Paul was an active and devout Christian prone to quote C.S. Lewis when there was opportunity. He was very active in the church and worked with and supported missionaries. Paul loved to play golf, especially with his family, and played a number of rounds even within the last several months of his life. Visitation will be , 28, 2016 at Bean Massey Burge from 630-8pm. Burial will be , 29, 2016 at 10 am at Dallas-Fort Worth National . A memorial service will be , 30, 2016 at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 11am. Obituary: Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away , 9, 2016. Sue Schauman was born 4, 1930 in Houston, Texas to Jonathan Franklin Hutchens and Ethel Brazil Hutchens. Sue was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Ed M Schauman, who died 27, 2008. Along with Sues parents and husband, Sue was predeceased by son Edward Schauman Jr. Sue is survived by daughter Debbie Bixby and husband Steve, son Paul Schauman and wife Dez , grandchildren Anna Schauman, Christina Schauman Rode and husband Darren, Jennifer Schauman and husband Steven Morrison, Brandon Schauman, Laura Schauman, Jon Goodwin, Edward Goodwin, Paul Goodwin and wife Brittany, and great-grandchildren (to whom she was Gi-Gi) Matthew Schauman, Isabella Goodwin, Mackenzie Haynie, Breken Rode, Bane Rode, Adalyn Morrison and Connor Goodwin. Together Sue and Ed founded Eastex Camper Sales, Inc and operated continuously for 40 years. Sue and Ed traveled by RV on many cross country trips and to Alaska where they spent their 50th wedding anniversary with friends in r, Alaska. The business also afforded the opportunity to travel with family, friends, fellow dealers and manufacturers on trips from Moscow to Martinique, England to Hawaii. Sue graduated from Lamar High School in 1949. On her senior trip to H & H Guest Ranch, she met Eddie Schauman, a handsome, young lifeguard from the country (Aldine). both attended the University of Houston the next year and were married on 14, 1950 at Second Baptist Church in Houston by Dr. Kyle Yates. Sue remained strong in her Christian faith throughout her life. She had a beautiful singing voice, and when she was younger, she served in her churches choirs and as a soloist. Sue loved her family and was always supportive of them as well as her many friends. She also loved the familys place in LaVeta, Colorado that she and Ed created; it was their heaven on earth. The years of vacations spent there with friends and family were treasured. Her favorite activity was sitting on the porch enjoying the view and serenity. There will be a visitation , 12, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm at Kingwood . service will start at 10:00 a.m. on , 13, 2016 also at Kingwood , 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339. Obituary: Edward Eddie McRay Schauman Jr., 62, entered into eternal rest on 6, 2015. He was a native of Humble, Texas, and graduated from MacArthur High School in 1971 and the University of Houston in 1975. Eddie was the General Manager of Eastex Camper Sales, a business owned by the Schauman family, for most of his life and was active in industry associations including serving as President of the Houston RV Dealers Association and the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association. He enjoyed rooting for Houston sports teams, participating in various community and industry associations, and relaxing in the mountains in Colorado.
