Obituary: Passed away peacefully at his home on 3, 2012. Born to Sicilian immigrants Gasper and Mattia Falcone Saragusa on 1, 1915 in Independence, La. He grew up on their strawberry farm and enjoyed a very close family. Dad is best described as loving, kind and gentle. He was loved by all those who knew him. He was a man who was most happy when surrounded by family, usually for a big meal. Words can never describe how much we will miss him. Dad has finally gone down the road; the road we will all travel some day. May the angels comfort him on his journey and he will live on in our hearts. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Lena Lalumia Saragusa; sisters, Angelina S. Gattuso and Agnes S. Trafficano; brothers, Kelly, Vincent and Tony Saragusa. Obituary: Jim was born in St. Louis, MO 21, 1932 to Rubye Mayre (nee Rice) and Francis Anthony (Toney) Saracini. Jim was a graduate of McBride High School (St. Louis) and St. Louis University. He served in the U. S. Army from 1952 to 1955 during the Korean War as a Paratrooper and Military Policeman in the United States and Germany. graduating, his corporate career started in 1957 with IBM where his selling and management philosophies and skills were developed and ingrained. Besides his 13 years with IBM, the remainder of his 28 year corporate career included other management, executive and ownership positions in the information processing field in St. Louis; Topeka; Chicago; Stamford, Connecticut; and Dallas. In 1985 Jim established his own consultancy focused on Sales and Management Training and Development emphasizing key account strategic planning and tactical sales implementation, translating technical capabilities into business solutions. Jim consulted with many major companies and agencies in the information processing industry in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America until his retirement in 2004. He is survived by his wife Melinda Luhman Saracini of Dallas; his daughter Lisa Marie Saracini Ruffner and husband Robert of St. Louis, his son Michael Anthony Saracini and wife Karen of Dallas, another son Gerald James Saracini of Dallas; his grandchildren Natalie Orcino Segerson and husband Jim of Denver, CO, Marco and Julia Saracini of Dallas, Anthony Ruffner of St. Louis; his long time friend and mother of his children, Violet Saracini of St. Louis; and a large extended family of 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousins and in-laws from many cities throughout the United States. His family of cousins were an integral part of his life . beloved and cherished. His oldest and bestest friend, Dick Dolan made him laugh harder than anyone he knew. As a native St. Louisian, Jim was an avid fan of all St. Louis sports. He was especially devout about the Cardinals. From his youth to his last day, he ardently followed their game. He could quote statistics, name players, analyze the game and state many tidbits of trivia! No matter where he lived, the Cards were #1! There will be a private service, followed by a traditional Italian Family Dinner for family and friends in St. Louis in the summer of 2014. |

Obituary: TERESA SARABIA, 78, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on 12, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She lived for God and her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years Jesus Sarabia and by her father, Carlos Lopez, mother Macrina Lopez, her sister Cecilia Franco, and her brothers Carlos Lopez Jr., and Alfonso Lopez. Our mother was a loving and caring mother who raised five children mostly on her own while our father worked two jobs. She was the one that brought us into this world, nurtured us, raised us, and made us the individuals we are today. She provided love and guidance throughout her life. We are now left without our mother and we will miss her greatly! We will miss those special talks we had with her, the special holidays like Christmas and Easter, the delicious meals she prepared for us (like chile verde con carne and chili bowl), and we will especially miss seeing her beautiful face. We move forward by cherishing the memories we have of her. We will never forget the smiles she gave each one of us, even as she was laying ill in her hospital bed. Our mother is no longer suffering and is now at peace in a place where there is no pain, and we have vowed to carry on her legacy and keep our family strong and united. We take great comfort in knowing she has entered through the pearly gates of Heaven and is with our Lord and Savior and has been reunited with our father and all of our loved ones who have passed. We thank you, our beautiful mother, for everything you did for us and we look forward to being with you again in Heaven. We Love You Mom! She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Linda and their daughters Savannah and Ysabel, her son Joe and his wife Pat and their daughters Stephanie Lopez (husband Nathan) and Kimberly, her son Richard and his wife Ivonne and children Andrea Ayala (husband Jose and their daughter Alexis), Richard Jr., and Meagan, her son Patrick and his wife Irene and their sons Josiah and Nathanael. Her daughter Cynthia Velasco and her husband Richard and their son Matthew. She is also survived by her sisters Angelina Flores and Ana Luisa De Leon. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the entire staff at Sierra Providence Hospital East, especially the nurses and CNAs that assisted in caring for their mother, and the staff of La Mariposa Hospice. The family also wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Tina Ayala who cared for their mother while she battled her illness and to the relatives and friends who provided their support, assistance, and prayers.
