Obituary: David Michael Sadowski, Jr, 38 of Houston, TX passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on 10, 2017. David was one of the warmest, funniest, happiest, loudest, most fun loving people you could ever meet. David proudly served our country in the Army. His first love was his wife, Julie Sadowski. His second love was the car business, where he made so many wonderful friends, mentored many, and never shied away from hard work and could light up a room with his big personality. No one embraced life the way David did. David touched the lives of so many with his willingness to help everybody. David enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He loved fishing, singing karaoke, grilling with friends and family, and his fur babies: Watson, Witten, Remy and Dallas. Obituary: Our beloved mother, Lillian Sadovsky, age 92, passed away with her family at her side on , 30, 2013. She was born in Mercedes, TX to wonderful parents, Max and Katie Hessel. Lillian attended Mercedes High School and in 1941, married the love of her life, Wolford Sadovsky. Lillian entered the family business, Joskes Diamond Salon as a bookkeeper. As her love for the business developed, she became their gold and pearl buyer and organizer. Her life made a lasting impact on her family, on the business community and on the people who knew her. She was very active in Agudas Achim Synagogue. Lillian was President of Sisterhood and then served as the first woman President of Agudas Achim Synagogue. She was extremely intelligent and totally devoted to her family and to the family business. Lillian had creation and passion in sharing her incredible taste in beautiful jewelry. She had an extraordinary presence and never-ending generosity. Through her quiet style and deliberate manner, she will be remembered for the success and high professional and personal standard the name SADOVSKY will forever represent. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wolford Sadovsky and is survived by their children: Mark Sadovsky and wife, Ellen; Kenneth Sadovsky; Gary Sadovsky; grandchildren: Brian Sadovsky and wife, Lesley; Adam Sadovsky and partner, Josh Margolis; Adrienne Skaggs and husband, Jonathan; Gable Sadovsky and wife, Rachel; Reagan Sadovsky and wife, Maddie; Griffin Sadovsky; great-grandchildren: Lillian Byrne, Savannah Sadovsky, Emma Skaggs, Gable Sadovsky, Jr. and Conley Sadovsky. We were all very proud of our mother and the courage she exemplified in her two-time battle with cancer. Obituary: William J. Sadler Died May 15, 2017, Age 58, Resident of El Paso, Texas Bill devoted his entire life to social services for the community of El Paso. He was a Masters level therapist working with individuals, families and groups. His experience was in childrens protective services, therapeutic foster care, and individual and family counseling. He earned his Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Texas at El Paso, Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University and a Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Bill worked for Buen Salud, Inc. of Santa Teresa, NM and Counseling Services of Texas. Bill also spent many years as a youth boys soccer coach for AYSO. Bills great passion was playing and coaching rugby. He played for the El Paso Scorpions Rugby Club and later on went to coach the Rugby Club for the University of Texas at El Paso and the Westside Crusaders. Bill is preceded by his parents Capt. John Weldon Sadler and Maureen Sadler. Grandparents: John and Lena (Sullivan) White, Lola Sadler, and nephew Joshua R. Ortegon. Survived by his wife Danna Bustamante-Sadler, his son, Jordan Sadler, lifelong friend, Brian Weston, and Christina Jimenez . His sister-in-law Paula Fierro and companion Anthony Gonzales, Sister-in-law Monica and husband Martin Quijano, nephews and niece; Issac Bustamante, Martin Quijano, Jr., Ismael Quijano and wife Jessica, Danika and husband Oz Velasquez, Joel Quijano and Jose D. Obituary: William Jack Sadler, Sr. (Jack) was born in Sayre, Oklahoma on May 1st, 1932. He was raised in Oklahoma; graduated from Classen High School of Oklahoma City; earned his Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma; served in the US Air Force as an instructor pilot; and then worked in technical sales, the restaurant business, the oilfield mud business and after his retirement in 1996, he worked part-time as a recording engineer in Houston, Texas. Jack also lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Atlanta, Georgia, and finally moved to Houston in 1985 where he remained until he died from sudden heart failure on May 8th, 2015- a happy and highly active 83 year old. Jack was a long time choir member (most recently at Northwoods Presbyterian Church); played the guitar for 70 years; was an amateur photographer; performed in many plays; and sang at retirement centers/nursing homes with the Friendship Singers. He leaves a wife, Donna Mason Sadler, one stepson, Kevin Mason, and one son, William Jack Sadler, Jr. (Bill). Smilin Jack will be long remembered for his joyful, easygoing nature and his zest for living. There will be a memorial service at Northwoods Presbyterian Church at 3320 Cypress Creek Parkway on , May 16th at 11:00 am. Donations to the Northwoods Presbyterian Church music program will be appreciated in lieu of flowers and/or gifts. |
