Obituary: Hugh Allen Shipley, 71,of Jerry Broyles Road, Chuckey, the South Central Community, passed away , 16, 2017, at Johnson City Medical . He was a retired insurance agent and owner of Limestone Auto . He was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Shipley was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #692, honorary past International Moose Legion President. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was loved by all with whom he came in contact. Survivors include his wife of 51 years: Joyce Anne Shipley; two sons and daughters-in-law: Kevin and Angela Shipley of Greeneville and Paul and Paula Shipley of Russellville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Brooke and Jamie Kilgore of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jordan Shipley of Chuckey, Alexys Shipley of Johnson City; step-grandsons: John, Jordan, and Jayme Wright of Russellville; step-granddaughter: Lindsey Palmer of Johnson City; a sister and brother-I-law: Faye and Gene Shephard of Greeneville; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joyce Shipley and Emilea Chapman of Greeneville, Lavane Kimery of Afton; several special nieces and nephews; and special friends: Reva Phillips, Kathy Seaton, and Brenda Bowers. He was the son of the late Guy and Mary Moncier Shipley and was preceded in death by a grandson, Jesse Wright, and a brother, Johnny Shipley. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kiser-Rose Hill . There will be a Moose Service conducted by Moose Lodge #692 at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Buchanan and Rev. Stephen Kimery officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. in Liberty . Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Parker, Robbie Lanham, Johnny Waldrop, Brandon Sams, Matthew Newton, Jason Lowe, and J.P. Johnson. Obituary: Helen Louise Shipley, of Chattanooga, passed away on , 11, 2014, in Crosby, Texas. She was 82 years old. She was born in Swan Pond, Tennessee and was a 1949 graduate of Rhea Central High School in Dayton. Louise was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and retired from The Calvin Baird with 38 years of service. She was a member of Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church. Louise was an avid sports fan, especially round ball. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie H. and Goldie W. Moore; siblings, Frances Hyder, Gertrude Swann, Ruth Rawlings, Carl Moore, Dickie Moore, Garland Moore and Irene Mayton. Louise is survived by her husband who she married on 1, 1950, Grady Shipley; daughter, Debbie (Tommy) Blake; son, Ted (Cindy) Shipley; brothers, Frank Moore, William Bud Moore; sister, Betsy Brooks; granddaughters, Carmen Griffin, Kassidy Lander and Andrea Shipley; six great granddaughters, Cami and Kendall Griffin, MaKenzie, Hailey, Tatum and Josie Lander; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on , 15 and again on , from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the North Chapel of Chattanooga .
