Obituary: Violet (Giandomenico) Sheaffer, 87, of Birdsboro, passed away peacefully in Manor , Sinking Spring, on , 11, 2017. Born in Reading on 22, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Virginia (Esposito) Giandomenico. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. Violet was employed with H. Oritsky Inc. as a seamstress for over 40 years before retiring in 1992. Prior to that, she worked at Luden's Candies, the Berkshire Knitting Mills and Narrow Fabric Industries. Surviving is her beloved daughter, Sandra J. Sheaffer, of Birdsboro; and her brother, Daniel Giandomenico and his wife, Eleanor, of Reading. She is predeceased by her baby daughter, Beth Sheaffer; four brothers: Peter, William, Joseph and Samuel Giandomenico; and four sisters: Eleanor (Giandomenico) Wentzel, Jennifer (Giandomenico) Williams, Margaret Giandomenico and Mary (Giandomenico) Lawrence. A funeral service for Violet will be , 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. in Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 1110 Snyder Rd., Reading, PA 19609. Family and friends will be received in the church on from 12 to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading. Auman's Inc. , Reiffton is entrusted with the arrangements.
