Obituary: Velda Mae Sydenstricker, 72, passed away on 23, 2016 at her home in Crescent, OK. She was born on May 10, 1943 in Bowie, TX to Wayne and Eunice Lorene (Lambert) Carson. Velda was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed the time spent with her husband, Bill, on the road. She enjoyed collecting carousels; and she had a green thumb which led to her spending time in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting, owls, and peeps candies. Velda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Carson, Kenny Davenport and John Curry. Survivors include her loving husband, William Bill; children, Angela Norris, Randy Houston (Donna), Deanna Lynn Nauden (Charles), Keith Sydenstricker (Carissa); grandchildren, Dustin Parratt (Deidre), Brandon and Derrick Parratt, Nikki Baker (Bobby), Jeffrey, Abby and Hailey Houston, Skylor Bates, Gleniel and Penielope Nauden, Cody and Kelsey Sydenstricker; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Alyssa, Makayla, Meagan Parratt, Malachai Turner, Christian Paratt, Aubrey and Ella Baker; siblings, Debbie (Larry), Crystal Gilreath, Ronnie Davenport, and Gary Wayne Carson. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., , 28, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK.
