Obituary: Robert (Rob) Lewis Stinson Jr. was born on 5, 1975 to Vanessa Morgan and Robert Lewis Stinson Sr. He was raised by his loving grandparents, Chester and Lorena Roberts in Del City, Oklahoma. He departed from us on 6, 2014 leaving all his worries and pain here on earth. As a child Rob was introduced to Jesus Christ and recently accepted him as his Personal Lord and Savior. Rob attended Mid- Del Schools, where he played awesome football all through his school years. Rob Graduated from Del City High School in 1994 and attend Rose State for two years. Later Rob worked for AT&T before he became disabled. But his love for sports, body building and fashion kept him very active. Rob always knew how to make you smile with some silly joke or prank. He was such an intelligent, loving and hilarious gentleman. Rob will be missed and loved by all. Survivors include his parents Vanessa Morgan, Robert Stinson Sr.(Teresa), grandparents Chester and Lorena Roberts, grandfather Robert Taylor, his only child (Kandon Stinson), his sister Natasha Broughton, brothers Robert Stinson and Christopher Stinson, his great grandmother Janie Roberts, his niece Tyana, his nephew TyTy, his aunt Dotty Cole(Keith), Ethel Dorsey and Mary Stinson , uncle Cornelius Terry(Anita), Authur Gleen and Elbert Stinson. Obituary: Susan Kay Stinnett, aged 72, of Konawa, Oklahoma and formerly of Hampshire, Tennessee, passed away at her home on , 13, 2015 after a year and a half long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on , 17, 2015 at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa, OK, officiated by Pastor Drew Isaacs and Rev. Darrell Stinnett. Oakes & Nichols Directors are assisting the family with local announcements. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born May 28, 1942 in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late John Z. and Ida Speed Treanor. Sue graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School in 1960, and attended Moody Bible in Chicago for three years before returning to Lincoln to attend and work for the University of Nebraska. She began singing on the Back to the Bible Broadcast when she was a young girl, and music continued to be a major part of her life. Sue moved to Oklahoma City in 1966 to live with her sister Sally, and there met Harmon Stinnett, her husband of 47 years. married on 4, 1967, in Oklahoma City. Sue spent her life as a homemaker and mother to two children Danny Stinnett of Hampshire, and Ellen Herriman of Konawa. She worked as a teachers aide at Hampshire Unit School for 10 years, and later worked as a teller at BancFirst in Konawa. She is remembered by her family as a loving mother, sister, grandma, and aunt. Sue never met a stranger, and all remember her for her outgoing and loving personality, her sense of humor, her beautiful voice, and her love for her Lord. She is survived by her husband, Harmon Stinnett of Konawa, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Kelly Stinnett of Hampshire; daughter and son-in-law, Ellen Herriman and Henry Keiner of Konawa, OK; granddaughter, Samantha (Kyle) Bays of Summertown; grandson David Herriman of Konawa, OK; and sister, Sally (Elmer) Kliewer of Oklahoma City, OK. |

Obituary: Rickey Clyde Stinnett, 67, passed away on 14, 2016 at his home in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Rick was born on 22, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Roy Clyde and Lorene (Hubbard) Stinnett. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1966, and after attending UCO for one year he enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country in the Vietnam War. He was awarded a Bronze Star, a Purple Heart, an Air Medal, and an Army Commendation Medal with Valor among other commendations for his heroism and outstanding service. He was honorably discharged in 1972. his military service, he worked at various trades until deciding upon a career as an aircraft mechanic with the Federal Aviation Administration from which he retired. Rick was a creative, talented man who had a passion for life and enjoyed many pastimes. He was an expert at the game of pool and at one time was ranked the number one pool player in Oklahoma. He was an avid fisherman who loved being on a lake with his friends, drinking a few beers, and celebrating a fresh catch. He was a gifted poet, an antique expert, a master upholsterer, a gourmet cook, a skilled gardener, a great roller-skater, and a damn fine whistler. There was nothing he put his mind to at which he did not excel. He was a character who had character and he will be dearly missed by those who loved him. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved Chow, Hercules Herky; and his closest childhood friend, Jimmy Guffey, who did not survive the Vietnam War and whose death Rick mourned deeply all his life. Survivors include his daughter, Kemi McCormick and husband, Preston; grandson, Oscar McCormick; sister, Joy Barnes; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and neighbors who loved him dearly.
