Visitation will be held , 9th, 2014, beginning at 2:00PM until 7:00 PM at Oasis Community Church at 800 West Peak Blvd. in Muskogee. Interment will take place at Greenhill in Muskogee, OK. Pallbearers for Mud Bug include Billy Stimmel, James Stimmel Sr., James Stimmel Jr., Timothy Stimmel, Manny Diaz, Justin Stimmel, Jeremy Jordan and Rick Curtis. Willaim Edward Bill Stimmel, or Mud Bug to his friends and fellow rock crawling enthusiasts, was born on 19th, 1964 in Findlay, OH, the son of William Edward and Ruth Ann (Wise) Stimmel Sr. He worked as a Mechanical technician in the automotive industry and worked for Same Day Auto. He was the owner/operator of Mud Bug Motorsports in Muskogee, OK. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed any chance to go out rock crawling, mud bogging, or racing with friends and family, it was his passion. He loved the thrill of the outdoors sports and had attained his first degree Black Belt in Goju Karate. For Mud Bug, it was all about the many friends he made while enjoying life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed being around people. He possessed a laugh that made you smile. He was a devoted father and grandpa. He loved his family dearly and took great pride in any accomplishments his children tried. A Christian by faith, Mud Bug was a member of The Bridge at Christ Church in Muskogee. The Lord called Mud Bug from this life on 4th, 2014 at Camp Gruber doing what he loved to do, rock crawling. He will be greatly missed for his spirit of adventure, his friendship, and his unconditional love. Mud Bug was 50 years old. Mud Bug is preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, William Billy Edward Stimmel III and companion Betty of Muskogee, OK and two daughters, Tristan Diaz and husband Manny of Tahlequah, OK and Destiney Stimmel of Muskogee, OK. He leaves his beloved mother, Ruth Ann Light. He leaves two brothers and two sisters, Timothy Stimmel of Findlay, OH, James Stimmel of Muskogee, OK, Patty Rush and husband Rusty of Findlay, OH and Beth Watson and husband Don also of Findlay, OH. His legacy and love of life lives on in his five grandchildren, Nevaeh Stimmel of Muskogee, OK and Landon Stimmel of Muskogee, OK, Zion Diaz of Tahlequah, OK, Harper Melody and Hunter Lee, and the mother of his children, Melody Stimmel. He leaves two step brothers and three step sisters, Rob Karn, Rick Karn of Fostoria, OH, Sissy Karn of Findlay, Valerie Scott of Findlay and Becky Light of Findlay, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones. |

Obituary: Douglas Aaron Stilwell was born 13, 1948 in Talihina, Oklahoma; the son of Harley H. Stilwell and Lorene (Billey) Stilwell. He departed this life on 3, 2015 at the age of 66 years 9 months and 17 days. Douglas grew up in the Boswell and Soper communities. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings: Retha Gail Stilwell Bolding, Edgar Harvey Billey, and Gregory Alan Stillwell. Douglas married Villar Pearle Dye on 4, 1984 in Hugo, Oklahoma. Doug graduated from Boswell Public Schools in 1966. Then the DRAFT opened up and he joined the United States Army. He was sent to Vietnam for over a year; after his tour of duty was up he was honorably discharged and sought work as a roustabout/welder with oil rigs. He enjoyed baseball, football, visiting with his brothers, and loved all of his nieces and nephews. Survivors include: his wife, Villar Stilwell, two sons: Harley Thompson and Hugh Thompson, both of Oklahoma City, OK; one daughter, Belinda Stilwell of North Carolina; two brothers: Gary Stilwell of Missouri, and Larry Stilwell of Kansas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends. |

Obituary: Anna Mae (Trent) Stilwell, age 79, was born 5, 1935 in Buckhorn, OK, the daughter of Ray Frank Trent and Georgia Dean (Bonds) Trent. She grew up in the Buckhorn community and moved to Hugo in 1998 after retirement from Texas Instruments. Anna was proud to have worked on the guidance system for the Patriot missile and Bunker Buster. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, making dolls, cooking and music. Most especially, Anna loved and enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Jay Dean Howell, Jr., six brothers, Jack Trent, Marion Ray Trent, Jimmy Trent, John Bud Trent, Paul Vaughn Trent and Jerry Wayne Trent; also one sister, Billie Ruth Trent. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: two sons, Ronny Stilwell and Paul Stilwell, both of Matagorda, TX; three daughters, Lea Stilwell of Angelton, TX, Jacque Stilwell of McKinney, TX and Leslie Blackburn and husband, Bart of Dallas, GA; one brother, A.J. Trent of Tehachapi, CA; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
