Obituary: Arlene Wolf Singleton died peacefully in her home on 25, 2015 at the age of 93. Arlene was born on 29, 1922 in Whitesboro, Oklahoma to Warren and Helen Leo (Parsley) Wolf. She graduated from East Central University with a degree in Business Education and obtained her Masters in Education from the University of Oklahoma. She and E.C. Singleton, her high school sweetheart, were married in 1942 and had two children, Jerry and Patricia. Arlene taught typing, accounting and music in various schools and towns throughout Oklahoma, including Calvin, Amber, Sterling and Midwest City. Arlene was devoted to her church family and taught School for many years. She also enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, camping, her dogs, and attending OU football, softball and womens basketball games. Most of all, she loved being Mema to her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Bob Grider; daughter-in-law, Leona Singleton; granddaughters Amber (Mitch) Carlton, Krista (Chad Wulf) Singleton, and Melissa Singleton, as well as two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, and her sister, Erma Jean Wilkerson. Services are scheduled for 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Midwest City. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimers Association or the Fender Music Foundation. under the direction of Bill Eisenhour , Del City, Oklahoma. |

Obituary: Janet Marie Singer, longtime resident of Edmond, OK was born on 11, 1952, in Oceanside, CA, and lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on 17, 2010, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was raised in a military family and lived in California, Virginia and North Carolina before settling in Edmond, OK. She was a graduate of Central State University and later started her accounting practice in Edmond. She was actively practicing as a CPA until just a few months before her death. Janet always had an amazing smile and overall presence. She was an extremely loving and giving mother whose focus was always on the well-being of her family. Janet had the ability to influence and touch the lives of everyone she met. She has made many dear friends throughout her life who will miss her terribly. During her long struggle with her illness, she found added strength and courage from her Christian faith. In turn, God has gained a most special and beautiful angel. Janet was preceded in death by her first born son, Jacob, and is survived by her three children, Rachel, Leah and Jonathan Singer, all of Edmond, two brothers, Alan Rockford of Edmond and Larry Crum of Henderson, NV, her mother and father, Geraldine and Ralph W. Crum of Edmond. Contributions may be made in memory of Janet to the American Cancer Society.
