Obituary: STAMBAUGH, Franklin D. Del, age 77, of Kettering, passed away on 4, 2016. Del was born on 11, 1938 in Floyd , KY to the late Woodrow and Elva Stumbo. He graduated from Olentangy High School in Lewis , OH, earned his Bachelors degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he was a star football player, and his Masters degree from Xavier University. He was a retired school teacher and athletic coach. Del enjoyed his retirement and loved spending time with friends and watching football, but his primary passion was his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Johnny, and his aunt, Palestine Vanderpool. Del is survived by his children, Carrie (Eddy) Blanco, Ross (Lori Williams) Stambaugh, and James Bion Stambaugh; grandchildren, Ellen, Elias, and Evan Blanco; brothers, Hugh and Ivan; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on , 10, 2016 in the Smith building at St. Helens Catholic Church, 5086 Burkhardt Rd. Dayton, OH. Family will greet friends before the service in the Smith building at 1:00pm. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff and doctors in the Neuroscience Unit at Miami Valley Hospital for all their care. |

Obituary: Donna Stambaugh, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away , 14, 2013 at Flower Hospital. She was born May 5, 1929, in Walsh, Michigan. She was the daughter of Bessie Lee (Harris) and Louis Fred Krause. Donna retired from Woolworths and was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed doing crafts, and especially spending time with her great grandsons. We will all miss her. Donna is survived by her brother, William Krouse, sister, Rosanne Wambach, daughter, Diana Nickens, Sandra Poe, grandchildren; Bill Nickens, John Bland, Trena Nickens, Christie Hofmann, Joseph Poe, Donna Simon, Michelle McCreary, great grandchildren, Ryan, Jeffery, Zachary, Brandon and Nathan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Krouse, Fred Kruse, Alvin Kruse, John Krouse, sisters, Lilian Pelz, Marcell Roach, Leona Waterman, husband, Joseph; son, John Bland and great granddaughter, Chloe Nickens.
