Pam was the daughter of Julia May WilliaPamela Virginia Szvetecz of Highlands, North Carolina passed peacefully on 5 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, she was 77. Pam was the daughter of Julia May Williams and Thomas Lockett Wiggins, sister to Thomas Marion Wiggins, and loving wife to her husband of 55 years, Army Col. (ret) Edward Szvetecz. Pam grew up in Park, GA where she was selected Miss Park High and upon graduation attended the University of Georgia where she was sweetheart for Sigma Chi and a sister in Alpha Delta Phi. A devoted mother and Army wife, she later earned her B.A. in Sociology from Mary Hardin Baylor University. Throughout her life, Pam was an energetic volunteer with multiple Army and civilian charity organizations. She loved to travel and live abroad but always maintained her passion for the welfare of the junior enlisted Army soldiers and their families. Pam is survived by her husband Ed, son Edward of Atlanta, GA, son Thomas of Arlington, VA in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends in the Atlanta, Highlands areas and the United States Army Community at Large. Obituary: Thaddeus "Ted" Szostak of Greensboro, passed away quietly at home on morning 12, 2016. He was 63 years old. Ted lived with his partner in love, Strickland, in Greensboro where he graduated from Grimsley High School in 1970. He went on to study architecture at the NCSU School of Design and graduated in 1976. He was a member of the NCSU's Varsity Swimming and Diving Team. leaving NC State, he went off to save the world with the Peace Corps and lived in Senegal, Africa helping farm workers and learning about the third world needs of that beautiful country. Coming home, he immersed himself in architecture and worked on several major projects including the renovation and additions to Duke University's Engineering School. But he fell in love with computers and made his own way: he founded and was the Chief Executive Officer for the Triangle Research Collaborative, Inc. at the Research Triangle Park where he developed applications and tools for time motion studies. He loved his family, the great outdoors and especially bicycles. He was a longtime diving coach for the Guilford Public Schools where he taught young divers the sport he loved all his life. Those that knew him, knew he enjoyed talking politics and was passionate about our challenging social issues. His voice will be missed. He was predeceased by his father Bill Szostak, his brother Joe Szostak of Greensboro and his nephew Philip Rollinson of Raleigh. He is survived by his love, Strickland, the best thing that ever happened to him. Coming from a large family, he is further survived by his mother Eva Szostak of Greensboro, his brother Philip and his wife Rhonda of Chapel Hill, Barbara Rollinson and her husband Rick of Raleigh, his brother Billy and his wife Alice of Greensboro, his sister Eva Szostak of Raleigh and his many nieces; Sara Szostak and her partner Phil Allison, Rebecca Szostak, Anna Szostak and her partner, Randall Greeson, Somer and Jewel Szostak, Angel Patrick, and nephews Will Rollinson and his wife Kathleen, and Zac Szostak. He will definitely be missed by his cherished dogs, Wrigley and Cleo. A memorial service in celebration of Ted's life will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 220 West Market Street, Greensboro, NC at 11:00 am , 18th. A visitation will be held at his mothers home in Greensboro at 4503 Kenbridge Drive (27410) from 6pm-9pm on , 17th. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Children's Society of NC, P.O. Obituary: Edwin Robert Szigethy Jr., loving father and devoted husband, passed away on 27, 2015. He was 47 years old. Eddie is survived by his wife of 18 years, Andrea (née Shaffer); his two daughters, Julia and Eden; his mother Joan; his sisters Debbie McGee and Nancy Szigethy; his brother-in-law Dan McGee; his nephew Gregory; his nieces Lauren and Alexandra; and a loving and cherished extended family. He is preceded in death by his father Edwin Sr. and his sister Susan. Eddie was born on 24, 1967 on Long Island, New York to Joan (Killeen) and Edwin Robert Szigethy. He graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor's degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts and earned a degree in Music Theory and Composition from the Berklee of Music. An accomplished artist and entrepreneur, Eddie built a thriving design business, ZigZag Multimedia. Eddie was devoted to his beautiful wife Andrea, whom he met after college and married on 1, 1997. On 12, 1999, they welcomed Julia Shay, the first of their two amazing daughters. On 1, 2002, Eden Beth completed their beautiful family. Eddie and Andrea filled their lives and their homes with these two extraordinary daughters and their three faithful dogs Beamer, Bentley and Jagger. While his family was his heart and soul, Eddie's passion was music. Whether he was making music with his friends in their bands, on his own or with his girls, music was a constant treasure in his life. Eddie was a true creative spirit, writing songs for Andrea, singing them with Eden, cooking with Julia and designing websites for his clients. Eddie loved the mountains; he loved the ocean. He spent precious days with his family and friends at their mountain house and at the beach, surrounded by everything he loved most in life. Eddie was an intensely spiritual man and a devoted member of the Crosspointe Church community. He shared his spirituality and faith with daughters, Julia and Eden. Most of all Eddie was a kind soul, a deep thinker and a generous man. We are so grateful to call him husband, father, son, brother, friend. Eddie Szigethy will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, and everyone he touched. Eddie will live on through his beautiful daughters, his loving wife and the hearts and minds of everyone blessed to have known him. A visitation will be held on , 2, 2015 at Brown-Wynne , 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511 from 2-4pm, and a Celebration of Eddies Life will be held at 6pm, followed by a reception and visitation until 8pm. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. , 3, 2015 at Crosspointe Church, 6911 Carpenter Fire Station Road, Cary, NC 27519.
