Obituary: 1931 – 2016 Asheville – Harry Lee Stevenson, 85, of the West Asheville community, passed away on , 11, 2016 at John F. Keever Solace . Harry was native of Haywood , but had lived most of his life in Buncombe and was a son of the late Don and Oda Reed Stevenson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Harry enjoyed fly fishing as well as tying his own fishing flies. He was employed by Biltmore Estate and was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Janice Kuykendall Stevenson; two daughters, Robyn Creegan and husband, John, of Morganton, and Rebecca Taylor and husband, Reid, of Waynesville; two grandsons, Jason Creegan and Tyler Creegan and wife, Rachel; and three great-grandchildren. services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on , 14, 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells with the Reverend Doug Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Partners Hospice Memorial Fund, P.O. Obituary: Waynesville, Geneva Allison Stevenson, age 75, of Iron Duff Road, passed away on , 20, 2015 at the home of her son. A native of Haywood , she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna Conard Allison; her husband of 58 years, Floyd Lee Stevenson, who also died in 2015; two sisters, Barbara Hahn and Helen Allison; and three brothers, Claude, Robert and Thomas Allison. A 1958 graduate of Waynesville Township High School, she retired from BASF with more than 43 years of service and also worked at Sams Mart for 10 years. She was a member of Cove Creek Baptist Church. Geneva is survived by a daughter, Brenda Thomas (Bill) of Cleveland, Tennessee; a son, Eddie Stevenson (Janice) of Waynesville; a sister, Scarlette Heatherly (Randy); six grandchildren, Micah Thompson (Jamie), Nicole Samuelson (Tommy), Nathan Hartgrove (Taylor), Dereak Owen (Crystal) and Tara and Brian Stevenson; eight great-grandchildren, Dakota and Dylan Bishop, Ava, Karee and Garren Thompson, Elliott and Malachi Hartgrove, and Zavith and Zaiden Owen, Courtney Hawkins (Matt) and Jessica Samuelson; nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kristin Martin (Connor), Leslie Thomas, and Brittany Wolfe (Derrick.) services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on , 25, 2015 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells with Reverend Billy Ferguson and Reverend Gary Putnam officiating. Obituary: Waynesville, Floyd Lee Stevenson of Iron Duff Road passed away on , 29, 2015 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace . A native and lifelong resident of Haywood , he was the son of the late Douglas and Fannie Henson Stevenson and was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. He was a former employee of the Dayco Corporation and a member of Cove Creek Baptist Church. Floyd enjoyed horses, fox hunting and helping others. He loved to talk and play practical jokes on friends and family.
