Obituary: Vertie Stegall, 85, of Charlotte, passed away , May 13, 2016. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church for over 34 years and was proud of her strong Christian faith. Vertie loved to be outdoors planting her flowers or tending to her garden. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always enjoying the times she got to spend with her family. . She is survived by her brother, S.M. Barnette (Ruth); daughters; Sandra (Marvin), Vertie (Mack), Cathy (Richard), Neita (James), Jo (Roger), Doris, and Tina(Daniel). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson Mark. A visitation with the family will be held on , May 17, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 6840 Wilson Grove Rd. Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227. Obituary: Nancy Barnhardt Stegall, age 68, of Lowell, North Carolina, passed away at her home on , 13, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Stegall was born in Concord, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Spencer and Gwen Mullis Barnhardt. Mrs. Stegall was a graduate of Concord High School in 1961. She retired from MeAdenville Elementary School after 23 years and was a member of Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Methodist Women. Mrs. Stegall is survived by her husband, Bill Stegall; son, Leonard Len Stegall of Belmont; daughter, Lori Hooker and husband Jody of Lowell; three grandchildren, Monica Furtick, Melanie McLeod and husband Brandon both of Belmont, Riley Hooker of Lowell; one great granddaughter, Sabrina Caldwell of Belmont. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church, 154 North Main Street, Cramerton, N. C. services will be 2:00 P. M. at Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Elise Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. Mrs. Stegall was preceded in death by her parents; sister Muriel Shute. Memorials may be made to Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 446, Cramerton, N.
