Obituary: Infant twins Hardin Mal Steelmon and Marin Harper Steelmon were born 23, 2017 at the UNC Medical in Chapel Hill, NC. Hardin passed away on 25, 2017 and Marin passed away 15, 2017. The twins were preceded in death by their maternal great-grandfathers, Mal Sherrill and Samuel Thompson, and their paternal great-grandparents, Shuford Hardin Sigmon and Frances Sigmon and paternal great-grandfather, Hampton Schell. Those left to cherish their memory include their parents, Josh and Melissa Steelmon of Garner, NC; maternal grandparents, Mala and Charles Dauber of Conover, NC, Brad and Reva Thompson of Paris, KY; paternal grandparents, Jan and Dave Clarke of Newton, NC, and Randy Steelmon of Hickory, NC; maternal great-grandmothers, Glenna Sherrill of Newton, NC, and Etta Thompson of Hickory, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Schell of Hickory, NC; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A service of remembrance will be held at 1:00 PM on , 22, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church in Newton, NC, with Rev. Connie Button officiating. The family will receive at the church prior to the service from 12:00 - 12:45 PM on . A private graveside service will follow at Conover City . Condolences may be sent to the Steelmon family at www.drumfh-conover.com.
