Obituary: Mrs. Dorothy Dot Kinley Sluder, 81, passed away , 21, 2016 at Pine Ridge and Rehab following a long illness. Dot was born in Randolph , 16, 1934, a daughter of the late David Theodore Kinley and Treva Hughes Kinley. She was a retired school bus driver with thirty years of service with the Davidson Schools. Dot loved growing flowers and enjoyed working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her sister, Emma Jane Hunt and a brother, r Kinley. Alzheimers took Dots mind but not her love for her family. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Autry Sluder; a daughter, Debra Thompson and her husband Greg; two sisters, Mary Magdaline McDowell and Shirley Saunders and her husband Lonnie; a brother, Benny Kinley and his wife Lou and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Dots life will be held at 1 p.m. in the Thomasville Chapel by Pastor Darrell Sluder, Jr. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park . The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until the service. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donors choice.
