Obituary: Marjorie Etta Sain, 80, of Hickory, passed away on , 18, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical , following a period of declining health. Marjorie was born on 1, 1936 in Burke to the late Dorsey Sain and Clarice Hoyle Sain. She was a member of Warlicks Baptist Church. In addition tom her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Hill. Survivors include two sisters, Christine Carswell and husband Danny of Connelly Springs and Glenda Carswell and husband Jonie of Hickory, and one brother, Glenn Sain and wife Linda of Hildebran. Also surviving are her nephews and nieces, Kevin Carswell and wife Jill, David Carswell, Charlotte Hill, Michelle Carswell, Keith Hill and wife Karen, Tony Smith, Makayla Day, and Steve Hill and wife Kim, and great nephews and nieces; Carrie and Ryan Carswell, Brooke and Zachary Carswell, Tyler Hill, Andrew Hill, Jacob Carswell, Junior and Carolyn Sain and Casey and Rachell. services will be held on , 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Warlicks Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Murry officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on , from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at Warlicks Baptist Church. Obituary: HICKORY---Jimmie J.D. Dale Sain 73 passed away , May 19, 2016 at Carolina Medical from injuries of an automobile accident. J.D. was born 19, 1942 in Cleveland to the late Frank M. and Fannie Cleo Pruitt Sain. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Paul Sain, Harold Sain, Buddy Sain, Horace Sain, and Melvin Sain. J.D. delivered newspapers for the Hickory Daily Record for 43 years. He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Cook Sain of the home; his daughter Gwen Burleson and husband Robert of Lenoir and Jan Shook of the home; a son Barry Sain of Shelby; grandchildren Kayla Hefner of Denver, Amber Marcum and husband Ted of Newton, Thomas Sain and wife Elizabeth of Richmond VA, Nathan Sain of Alberta, VA, Chris Sain and wife Laura Jo of Shelby, Brandon Sain of Morganton, Austin Shook and wife Kati of Connelly Springs, Cory Burleson of Lenoir; great grandchildren Molly and Michaela Marcum, Abigail Hefner, Chloe Shook, Tré, Trenton, and C.J.
