Obituary: Graveside services for Ruby Boswell Stokes will be held at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Revs. Hiram Coker and Dayna Goff will be officiating. Stephens is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Stokes, 89, passed away at the Lakeside in Quitman. She was a homemaker and a long- time member of Westwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Stokes will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children Cynthia Coker and husband Hiram, Larry Stokes, Scotty Stokes and wife Carol; brothers Horace and Ray Boswell; sisters Tommie Avera, Elaine McCary and sister in law Barbara Lois Bobbie Stokes. Mrs. Stokes is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers serving will be Shane Boatner, Ethan Boatner, Phillip Dixon, James Dixon, Jeremy Smith, Austin Smith and Diante Coker. Visitation will be evening from 5pm to 8 pm and from 12pm until 1:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Quitman, Childrens Ministry. Obituary: Janette Pannell Stokes, age 79, died , 18, 2015 at NMMC Pontotoc. She was a member of Ecru Baptist Church. her retirement from Bank of MS in Ecru, she worked at North Pontotoc Elementary School and the Elvis Presley Birthplace in Tupelo. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, collecting Elvis memorabilia and Coca Cola collectables. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on , 20, 2015 at Ecru Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Lassett and Rev. Jerry Caples officiating; burial will follow in the Ecru . Browning in Pontotoc is assisting the family. Survivors include her two sons: Wayne Stokes and wife Mitzi, and Phil Stokes and wife Kim; her mother-in-law: Anna Loyce Stokes; and five granddaughters: Ashely Stubblefield and husband Chad, Amber Stokes, Anna Stokes, Callie Stokes and Skylar Stokes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Clyde Wayne Stokes and brothers and sister. Pallbearers will be: John Bailey, Bruce McCoy, Charlie Stubblefield, Johnny Mounce, Jimmy Farris, Bush Hamilton, Charles Mitchell and Donald Andrews.
