Obituary: Beverley Lucile Sutter, passed away on 2, 2015 at age 82. Born 27, 1933 to Olive Price Patton and Dewey Patton. She spent most of her younger life in the Flint area until the death of her mother in 1948. Beverley married Claude E. Sutter, 16, 1950. For the ne4xt 25 years, she was busy raising her three children; Rhonda, Ranae and Brian. Very active in school activities, PTA, Scouting, 4-H and for 17 years, she taught first aid with her daughter, Ranae to Fire Departments, Rescue Units, Village Police, Sheriff Dept. and Adult Ed. Classes. Beverley and Claude loved motorcycling and crossed the country from Nova Scotia, Canada to California and 44 states in between, missing only 5 states. Beverley and Claude lived their entire married life on their farm in Kewadin; except escaping in the later years to their Arizona home for the winters. She was preceded in death by her husband; Claude, both parents, brothers; Donald and Richard, special step-father, Lyle McNeal and honorary mother and father; Uncle Carson Ehle and Aunt Ceal Ehle. She is survived by children: daughters; Rhonda (Jim) Haller, Ranae (Chuck) Utley and son: Brian C. Sutter. Also grandchildren; Angelique McDougall Zorc, Michael McDougall, Tim Sutter, Alicia Haller Beck and Travis Hall. Great grandchildren; Miriam Mira Zorc, Isabella Bella Zorc, Aiden McDougall, Lincoln McDougall, Cole Sutter, Jordan Lee Sutter, Asher Beck and Temperance Beck. Her family was her greatest love in life. Visitation will be held on , 4, 2015; 6-8pm at Covell , Elk Rapids. service will be on , 5, 2015; 1pm with visitation one hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at S. Milton Twp. in Kewadin. Please share a memory with the family on their online guestbook. |

Obituary: Violet May Sutten, age 71, of St. Louis, MI passed away , 20, 2014 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family s, St. Louis, MI on , 23 at 1:00 P.M. Violet was born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on May 14, 1943, the daughter of Mose and Mary (Harris) Gilbert. Violet was a lifelong resident of St. Louis. She loved working in her yard and spending time with her family and her four legged baby Mayze. She retired from Oxford Automotive in 2002. Violet loved shopping, and getting together for the Holidays. She also enjoyed traveling, car rides to the farm and reminiscing. She is survived by her son Chester and Kris Sutten of Cadillac, MI, daughter Sheila and Daniel Roesly of Newaygo, MI, son Herbert and Bonnie Sutten of Edmore, MI, son Rodney and Dona Sutten of Alma, MI, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, loved one Raymond Doyle of Wheeler, 5 sisters; Lucille and Leo Torpey of Swartz Creek, MI, Dorothy Billiau of Six Lakes, MI, Laura and Robert Divins of Tampa, FL, Mary Lou Gilbert of Flint, MI, Pat Barnes of Ireland, 2 brothers; Adelbert Gilbert of Alma, MI, Elmer and Betty Gilbert of Flagstaff, AZ, and stepson Chad Doyle of Breckenridge, MI.
