Obituary: Of Jackson, passed away at his home on , 28, 2014 at the age of 83. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Miriam (Hopkins) Sargent; five children: Denise (Iyad) Sargent-Natour, Dawn (Robert Cameron) Sargent, Dwight (Cathy) Sargent, Derrick (Cindy) Sargent, and Dody (Todd) Sargent; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Pamela (Paul) True; as well as many loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Sargent and brother, John R. Sargent. Charles was born to John and Altha (Davidson) Sargent in Jackson on 28, 1931. graduating from East Jackson, he served in the U.S. Naval reserve while attending Jackson Community and was employed at Consumers Power. At the age of 21 he married and started a family. He then went on to graduate from Adams State in Colorado and returned to Jackson where he taught at Jackson Public Schools and was a local Meemic Insurance representative. He enjoyed an active life, was an avid fisherman and golfer; he served as a Scout Master, and coached Little League Baseball. He donated land and built a baseball field on the property at Whipple Road off I-94. He was a member at Westminster Presbyterian Church (2301 Ridgeway Road Jackson 49203), where a memorial service will be held on , 2, 2014 at 12:00 noon with Reverend Karen Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on evening, 31, from 6 to 8 PM and again at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Obituary: Preser B. Sare, age 86 of Rochester, died , 24, 2015 at the Bonnie Court Group in Clinton Township, Michigan. She was born 26, 1929 in Quezon City, Philippines, daughter of the late Gregorio and the late Baldomera (nee:Valderama) Barretto. For over 20 years, Mrs. Sare had the privilege and delight in the educating and molding of young minds as a teacher in Detroits, Wilkins Elementary School. With a Masters Degree from Wayne State University as her foundation, and a desire to instill the basics to the countless 2nd and 3rd graders that passed through her doors over the years, Mrs. Sare was proud and honored to see many children grow from the expertise she exuded. Aside from her efforts at school, her hard-working hands were always busy at home, too. From the magic she performed in the kitchen with her cooking skills,...to the nurturing she poured into tending to her coveted rose garden, Mrs. Sare had a unique and genuine flair of touching others,...either through their appetites or through the visual splendor of her gift with flowers. Another pastime she treasured were the many evenings spent on the dance floor with her beloved, John. Tripping the light fantastic took on very special meaning for she and John as they enjoyed countless memorable moments in each others arms, dancing the night away. Yet of all the pastimes she enjoyed, traveling with John was certainly high on her list. This globe-trotting duo had fond memories of their visits to Italy, Spain, and also her homeland in the Philippines. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Sares most cherished moments in life were those shared with her family,...especially her precious grandchildren. were truly the apple of her eye, and she had the honor of helping raise them as well. Between home and school, Mrs. Sare was truly gifted with a youthful environment that enveloped her heart and life. She was a special lady who impacted the lives of many and she will be missed immensely. Mrs. Sare was the beloved wife of the late John. Dear mother of Rose (Bruce) Ohms and Florence (John) Hutchins. Loving grandmother of Madison and Zachary Hutchins. Cherished sister of Clara Lota. Visitation for Mrs. Sare will be held , 28th from 4-9 pm, with a 7pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons , 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. She will lie in state from 10:30 am until time of the Mass at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (formerly St. Cletus) in Warren. Entombment will follow at White Chapel in Troy, Michigan. Obituary: John Nacion Sare age 81, died , 16, 2010, in his home in Clinton Township. John was born 1, 1929 in Manila, Philippines, the son of the late Jose and Rosario (nee: Nacion) Sare. John had attended the University of the East in the Philippines and received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Later he taught as a Professor at the Adamson University for several years. He met the love of his life and married her in of 1957. having two beautiful daughters their life led them in a new direction. decided to move to the United States and bought a house in Detroit in 1968. John then began working for the Chrysler Corporation as a CPA. He was a dedicated employee for many yearshe later retired in 1990. When John wasnt working he loved spending time with his lovely bride of 52 years. He was a devoted family man who would often cook for his wife and take her out dancing. He was outgoing and a very happy man to be around. John will be truly missed by his family and friends but to know they have an angel above is heart warming to those who knew him. He was the beloved husband of Preser. Loving father of Rose (Bruce) Ohms, and Florence (John) Hutchins. Loving grandfather of Madison, and Zachary Hutchins. Dear brother of Pabling, Rudy, Teresita, Jose Jr., Fred and the late Ralph. Brother in law of Tony and Clara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many other loving family members. Obituary: Lottie (Drzymalski) Sardo 82 of Newington died at home on , 1, 2009. She was born in New Britain and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Bronislawa Drzymalrski. Lottie was born and lived in New Britain for most of her life, moving to Newington in 1963 . She worked form many years in Retail Sales and was a member of the Holy Spirit Church in Newington. She was the widow of Frank Sardo and is survived by her beloved son John Sardo and his wife, Barbara of Bay City, Michigan. She is also survived by two sisters, Maryann Lehman of Virginia and Josephine Dale of NC; she leaves three sisters in law, Lucy, Susan and Rose and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Sardo and two sisters and a brother. Memorial service will be on 9, 2009 at11:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial & Sagarino , 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain.
