She was born 26, 1913 in Rose Bud, Arkansas to the late Hugh Lawson Wilkinson, and Sallie Elizabeth (Gresham) Wilkinson of Rose Bud. She is survived by one daughter, Ladotta Barlow of Rose Bud, Arkansas; two sons, Leon Stevens (Tina) of Williamstown, New Jersey, and Jerrel Stevens (Joyce) of Rose Bud, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Stevens; one sister, Elberta (Wilkinson) Overstreet; and four brothers, Floyd Wilkinson, Ariel Wilkinson, Cullie Wilkinson, and Jasper Wilkinson; a baby daughter, Patricia Stevens; and son-in-law, Max Barlow. Laodice was a member of New Hart Freewill Baptist Church in Rose Bud for over 80 years. She was a homemaker. Obituary: Harriet Pronovost Stevens, 92 of El Dorado, AR; died on , 21, 2015 at Medical of South Arkansas. Born on 10, 1923 in Waterbury, CT; she was the daughter of Pierre and Mary Hope Pronovost. She joined the U.S. Army Nurse Cadet Corp in 1944 and graduated in 1947 from the University Hospital in Chicago, IL with a degree in . Harriet married Irwin Steve Stevens in 1948. moved to El Dorado in 1950 and she began a career as a registered nurse at Warner Brown Hospital. Harriet was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ralph Pronovost and Paul Provonost; two sisters, Eloise Sevigny and Loraine Roberson; her loyal Peek-A-Poo Buddy; and her husband of 60 years Irwin Steve Stevens. Survivors are a son Mark I. Stevens and wife Dixie of Hot Springs, AR; a daughter Mary Clapp and husband Desmond of El Dorado, AR; two sisters Marcelle Crean of Middlebury, CT and Joan Pronovost of Southbury, CT; three grandsons Chris Leach and wife Alex, Eric Clapp, and David Stevens; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Youngs Directors evening from 5:30 pm to 7:30pm with a Rosary Service at 7:30 pm. services will be at 10 am, , 28, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Edward DAlmeeida officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Desmond Clapp, Chris Leach, Eric Clapp, Bobby Tucker, Joe Hickey, Wayne Husbands, John Ralston, and David Stevens.
