Obituary: Troy Stanford, 90, of Rudy, AR, died , 10, 2011 in his home. He was born 20, 1920 in Yoestown Community, AR. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army, he retired from the army after 23 years and served in WW II and Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Amy Stanford; three sisters, Lois Temple, Ola Mae Powell and Jessie Spoon; and two brothers, David and Billy Stanford He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ella Mae; a daughter, Carol Steward of Tulsa, OK; a sister, Mary Ruth Hale of Rudy, AR; a grandson, Lance Steward of Glenpool, OK; and two great grandchildren, Ella and Cole Steward of Glenpool, OK. Obituary: James Michael Standefer completed his journey with ALS at Circle of Life Hospice as he passed into the presence of the Lord 16, 2016. He was born in Waco, Texas to James Henry Standefer and Annie Pearl Wyly Standefer 21, 1950. Michael married Diane Sinclair Standefer 22, 1977 in El Paso, Texas. He had three sons whom he cherished. He graduated from Baylor University and went on to get a Masters degree in Neurobiology from Baylor of Dentistry and MD from Texas Tech Medical School. He did his neurosurgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic. He worked in Fort Smith (1985-2006) and later Northwest Arkansas (2006-2014) as a neurosurgeon to provide compassionate care. He was a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Spine Society, and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He was an avid golfer. getting hooked on golf in junior high school, he played for his high school golf team and continued playing throughout his life. He loved many different genres of music and art. He enjoyed going skiing with his family. He loved traveling. Some of his more memorable trips were to China, Vietnam, Istanbul Turkey, and a train trip across Canada. He will be missed greatly by Diane; Shawn (son) and Ana Mamatelashvili of Melbourne Australia; Peyton (son), Trang, and Vincent (grandson) of Fayetteville Arkansas; Colin (son) of Rogers Arkansas; Cleta Seton (aunt) of Pasadena Texas; in laws Betty and Stuart Sinclair of Fayetteville; and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be on 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Fellowship Church of Northwest Arkansas. 1051 W. Obituary: Mother Zola Mae White was born 13, 1930 in Marie, Arkansas to the late Joel White and Tempie E Stone. Mother Zola Mae (White) Standard transitioned to be with the Lord on 4, 2017 at age of 86. On 3, 1954 in Braggadocio, Missouri she married Overters Standard. later moved to Benton, Arkansas were they resided. Mother Standard later joined Mount Zion Baptist Church under Pastor Justice and his wife. She loved to sing in the choir and always helped in the church in whatever way she could. Mother Standard most graciously known as "TT" to family, and "Momma Doe" to her grandchildren. She loved to sew; while sitting in the "blue room" as we called it listening to church music she would make some wonderful outfits for her daughter and herself. In addition, she enjoyed crocheting this was not just a hobby, but was something she was very passionate about and made several beautiful quilts that we still cherish today (her daughter Elizabeth has one on her bed right now). She was also very handy around the house she could change light fixtures, tighten bolts, pulling carpet you name it. Her husband Overters Standard, her parents Joel White and Tempie Stone, a sister Frankie M Calvin, and a brother Joel White, Jr. preceded Mother Standard in death. Mother Standard leaves to cherish her memories-her one and only daughter Elizabeth (Hubbard) Cooper of Springfield, IL; three granddaughters, Elisa G (Mack) Johnson of St Louis, Mo., Zola L Hubbard of Godfrey, IL, and Clarissa (Richard) Warren of Springfield, IL; one grandson, Henry L Hubbard Jr. of Maryville, IL; six sisters, Queenie E Stone of Evansville, IN, Charlene Dawn of Benton, AR, Earlene Dawn of Dallas, TX, Betty Bush of Omaha, NE, Sharon Rule of Alorton, IL, and Djuanna Chambers of ville, IL; one brother, Jimmie White of Benton, AR; ten great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a special daughter, Van Ester Brooks of Caruthersville, MO; a special cousin (like a sister), Jearlean Dawn of Benton, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
