Obituary: Family and friends were saddened to learn of the death of Ronald A. Stephan, long time President of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce and co-founder of Prudential Ursula M. Stephan Realtors, Sudbury, who died in Delray Beach, Florida on , 23, 2013 following a brief illness. A resident of Sudbury for over 35 years, upon retirement in 2005 he and his wife, the late Ursula M. Babe Stephan moved to Kennebunk, Maine and also established a winter home in Boca Raton, Florida. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Albert and Jessie (Francis) Stephan. He would have turned 80 on 30, of this year. He served with the United States Army Medical Corps during the Korean War from 1950 to 1952, attended the University of Buffalo and married Ursula Muto in 1954. Mr. Stephan joined National Cash Register (NCR) as Administrative Assistant, then on as Salesman, District Manager, Northeastern Division Manager, and finally New England Regional Manager, ending his tenure with NCR after 26 years. He then joined Business Information Products Division of United Computing Corp. as Eastern North America Division Manager. In 1986 he joined his wife when her real estate company was selected as one of the first in the New England states to represent the prestigious Prudential Real Estate Affiliates. Prior to his years in Sudbury, Ron had been the President of the Buffalo Junior Chamber of Commerce; Chairman of the Junior Chamber of Commerce National Convention; Member of the Board of Directors for the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce; Board of Directors Muscular Dystrophy, Buffalo Chapter; and the Buffalo Area Boy Scouts of America. moving to Sudbury, he volunteered as Coach of Sudbury Little League and Coach of Sudbury Pop Warner Football. He served on the Sudbury Finance Committee from 1978-1981 and was elected President of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce from 1987, serving until his retirement. Mr. Stephan received the Boy Scouts of America Good Scout award in 2003, and he and Mrs. Stephan were named 4th of Parade Marshalls in 2007 in recognition of their work to raise funds for the holiday celebration through the Fire Cracker Ball. Mr. Stephan was predeceased by his sons Gregory and Keith Stephan and is survived by his sons: Louis Stephan and his wife, Lisa Dropkin, of Sudbury; Scott Stephan and his fiancée, Vicki-Ann Girard, of Kennebunk, ME; and Ronald Stephan, Jr. and his wife, Andrea, of Scarborough, ME. He also leaves his grandchildren: Lynn Stephan; Sarah Schweiker and her husband, Ryan; Beth Eddy and her husband, Nick; Madeleine and Louis Stephan, Jr.; Aja Stephan Allan and her husband, Garry; Deanna Perez and her husband, Hector; Josiah Stephan; Gregory and Ronald Stephan; and three great grandchildren. He also is survived by his brother and sister in law, Richard and Doris Stephan of New York. A Mass will be celebrated , 2, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd., Sudbury, followed by interment in Wadsworth , Sudbury. Obituary: DANVERS- Mrs. Loretta Josephine (Przypek) Stepchin 87of Danvers, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late Frank Stepchin, died May 16th, 2016 at Beverly Hospital. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Karol and Apollonia (Dobosz) Przypek. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. Mrs. Stepchin had been employed with Sylvania for over 20 years at the Loring Avenue Plant until the time of her retirement in 2003. More recently, Loretta had been employed with Winfreys Fudge in Beverly and in Rowley. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Loretta, enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid reader who especially loved to travel to Sanford, Maine and spend time at their summer home. Family was always first in Lorettas life and she took great pleasure seeing her family grow and succeed. She will be deeply missed. Loretta is survived by her children, Richard F. Stepchin and his wife Catharine of Melrose, Michael Stepchin of Peabody, Linda Walsh and her husband William of Dover, N.H. and Lorraine Stepchin of Dover, N.H., her three grandchildren, Elizabeth Stepchin, Jennifer Walsh and Ryan Walsh, her great grandson John Robert Marry IV, her sister Helen Brush of Scottsdale, AZ and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur Przypek and Matilda Jordan. ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from The ODonnell 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, , May 20th at 9:15 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Polish Church, St. Peter St., Salem, at 10 A.M. Obituary: MIDDLETON- Ms. Lisa J. (Hiltunen) Stepanick, 45, of Peabody, passed away , 16th, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous thirteen-month battle with Multiple Myeloma. Born in Beverly, she was the beloved daughter of Elaine T. (Gillis) Hiltunen and Clark S. Hiltunen. Raised and educated in Salem, she was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1988. She continued her education at Salem State and received her Bachelors Degree in Education in 1992. Lisa found her greatest joys in being a mother. Her love for her family and especially her children was endless. She was their biggest cheerleader, supporting them through all their activities and sports. Her commitment and adoration of her children was what defined Lisa. She was a mother through and through. A recent resident of Middleton and previously of Jupiter, Florida, Lisa was active in her community. She supported her boys by volunteering in Middleton schools and always encouraged them in the arts and music. Her love of her children was evident to all. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in Middleton and volunteered by teaching C.C.D. for many years. Her family and faith were of the utmost importance to her. Her devotion to her family and others was what gave her strength. Lisa was a fighter. She was strong throughout her battle with Multiple Myeloma and never complained about the difficulties she faced. Her caring heart, strength, loving smile and devotion to her children will be her eternal trademark. She will be deeply missed. Lisa is survived by her children, Liam Connor Stepanick and Carter Avery Stepanick both of Middleton, her parents, Elaine T. (Gillis) Hiltunen of Peabody and Clark S. Hiltunen and his wife Marie of Haverhill, her sisters, Julie Gould and her husband Douglas of Stoneham and Karen Cronin and her husband Michael of Boxford, her brother, Steve Hiltunen and his wife Karen of Acton, her former husband, Kevin Stepanick and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. ARRANGEMENTS: Her Service will be held in St. Agnes Church, 22 Boston St., Middleton, , 22nd at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Oakdale Cemetary, Middleton.
