Survived by his wife Becky Hymel Sotile, sons and daughter-in-law Mark Sotile, Jr. and Matthew and Sarah Sotile and daughters and sons-in-law Melissa S. and Brad Zeller, Michelle S. and Lance Troxclair and Rebecca S. and Jacob Knight; grandchildren Brandt, Mary Beth and Brayden Zeller, Tyler and Preston Sotile and Ryder and Hayes Troxclair; brothers Vincent (Pat) Sotile, Donald (Laura) Sotile and sister Rosalyn S. (Michael) Small. He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Loretta Tripode Sotile and first wife Mary Daigle Sotile. Mark, a Nicholls State alum, was a former successful business entrepreneur, a 24-year veteran with C. F. Industries and a lifelong member of Ascension Catholic Church. An avid fisherman and lover of the horses, Mark enjoyed life. He was looking forward to spending his retirement with his family whom he loved and adored. Visitation will be on , 28, 2017 at the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church from 9:00 am to 11:45 am until Catholic Mass at Noon. Obituary: Charles Chuck Eugene Sosbe, resident of Bossier City, passed away , Christmas Eve, at the Willis Knighton Bossier Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 78 years of age. Chuck was born 31 1932 in Shelby , Indiana to Walter Monroe Sosbe and Nellie Gelaine Bausback. graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Unites States Air Force. He was stationed throughout the United States and in several countries in Europe, Africa and Southeast East Asia. His service included two tours in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He received the rank of Chief Master Sergeant before retiring after 22 years of service. While Chuck was stationed in Lake Charles at the Chennault Air Force Base, he met Frances Marie Bruno. were married 5 1954 in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. had three children, Charles Eugene Jr., Yvonne Renee and Curtis Wayne. Chuck and Marie also raised their nephew, William Edward Bruno, as their own son. retirement, Chuck worked as an auto mechanic for Sears and for the Bossier City Garage where he became a manager. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 4588. He served two terms as the Post Commander, one term as the 12th Districts commander and on the 12th District honor guard. Chuck enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. His right arm was two sizes larger than his left - from all the time he spent stirring rue and pulling slot-machine handles. Chuck is survived by Charles and Carmya Sosbe, Pagosa Springs, Colorado; Renee and Gale Myers, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Curtis and Lennie Sosbe, Murietta, California; Will and Misty Bruno, Kewanne, Illinois; sister Elinore Imel, Fountaintown, Indiana; grandchildren Stacy and Ian, Charles III, Audrey, Ashley, Thomas, Cheyenne, Savanna and William Jr.; and two great-grandchildren Kaitlen and Dustin. His wife, Marie died 29 2000. His parents, four brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death. Grandson of Elton Frickey Jr., Karen Frickey, and Maria Rios. Nephew of Dawn Frickey, Elton Frickey III, Ashley Carmadelle, Ashley Sosa, Lexsander Sosa, and Lisa Sosa. Cousin of Alana Frickey, Alexis Sosa, Brianna Sosa, Ciara Sosa, Ashlyn Sosa, Makayla Sosa, Patrick P.J. Sosa, Savannah Frickey, and Ava Frickey. He is also survived by his family and friends at Estelle Elementary, especially his friend Madison. He was a vibrant eight year old, who loved a good joke, chocolate, pepperoni pizza, the comradery of a team, playing video games, singing, and just goofing around. Obituary: Luis Rafael Sosa, 92, passed away at his home in Gretna, LA on , 19, 2017. Luis was born in Havana Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 1962. He was a resident of Gretna since 1963 where he worked as an electrical engineer for Warren Moses Consulting Engineers and President of Spanish American Engineers Inc until his retirement at age 87. He will be missed by his wife of 70 years, Concepcion P Sosa, his children, Luis F Sosa, Jose A Sosa and Maria S Buras, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members. Luis served as President of the Cuban Club of Professionals and was a member of the LA Engineering Society. Luis was responsible for designing the lighting for many prominent buildings throughout New Orleans including Harrah’s Casino, the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, the New Orleans Convention , the Intercontinental Hotel, the National World War II Museum and what’s now called the Smoothie King .
