Obituary: NEW IBERIA \ Services will be celebrated for Steve TuFlow Segura, age 59, at 11:00 am , 17, 2014 at Evangeline . Fr. Paul Onuegbe will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline on from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm, with the Rosary being prayed at 7:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on from 8:00 am until time of services. Steve was born 15, 1954 in Lafayette to the late Ellis Paul Segura and Eunice Dore Segura. He passed away peacefully on , 14, 2014 at Iberia Medical , surrounded by his loving family. Steve, known by family and friends as TuFlow, worked in the oilfield industry with Howard Construction for many years. He was also known in the Horse racing circuit for his many years spent as a horse trainer. But it was his family that meant most to him. Steve loved the time he spent with his family and loved them all very much. He was a generous and kind hearted man that will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Lena Babin Segura of New Iberia; his children, Chris Segura of Mississippi, and Jolyn Segura Toutcheque (Edwin) of New Iberia; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Tyler, Brooke, Chelzea, Gage, Devon and Siera Segura; two step-children, Amanda White and Joe White; two step-grandchildren, Kavon White and Kevin Francis; his brothers, Calvin Segura (Margie) and Rolling Segura (Brenda) of New Iberia; a step-sister, Doris Marin (Armondo) of Ft. Polk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ellis Paul Segura, II. He was a talented craftsman with unlimited skills and knowledge which enabled him to conquer any task asked of him. Everyone that knew Ryan knew of his love for nature and all creatures. He was a true outdoorsman whose favorite pastime was fishing. He also enjoyed music, boating, mountain biking, watching football, and spending time with his family and beloved pets. Some of Ryans many talents included playing piano and guitar, drawing, and painting. Ryan was known for his good heart, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his mother, Jaci Elizabeth Hebert of Avery Island; his father and step-mother, Chris A. Segura and Laurie Briscoe Segura of New Iberia; his sister, Lanie S. Obituary: services for Randy J. Segura, Sr., age 49, will be held during a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian burial on , 26, 2015, at the Church of the Assumption. He will be laid to rest in the Franklin . Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the Mass. The family will receive friends at Iberts Mortuary in Franklin on , from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM, and again on at 9:00 AM until time of dismissal at 1:30 PM. Randy, a lifelong resident of Franklin, worked at the family business, St. Mary Tire, starting at a very early age. His first job there was watching for customers to walk in and then going get his father from the shop to wait on them. By age 15 he was running the shop. He enjoyed helping people and visiting with the public, so much so that he would often call customers just to ask how they were doing or how their day was going. Some of his favorite pastimes were riding in his airboat, cruising his Harley, fishing, and spending time at the camp. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Survivors include one son, Randy J. Segura, Jr. and his daughter Ra ya; one daughter, Kimberly Segura; his parents, Allen J. Segura and Judy Miguez Segura; three siblings, Crystal Segura James and her husband Cary, Shane J. Segura, Sr. and his wife Bambie, and Parrish J. Obituary: Lodger J. Segura, a native of Erath and longtime resident of Franklin, passed away at the age of 80, on at 11:47 a.m. at his home surrounded by his family following a brief illness. L. J. was born 25, 1936 to the late Leby Segura and the late Adia Duplantis Segura in Erath, LA. He joined the Marine Corp in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1958. He married later that year and moved to Franklin in 1964 while working at Pelican Creamery. He then became employed by the United States Postal Service in Franklin until his retirement. L. J. was a co-founder, along with his wife, of the Krewe of Agmarol in Franklin, a member of the American Legion, and served 4 years as a Franklin City Councilman. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. L. J. was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a loyal friend. His hobbies included gardening, visiting family and friends, and caring for his wife when she became ill. Survivors include his wife, Martha Conner Segura, his daughter (and caregiver) Tammy Segura Himel, and her husband Warren (Butch), one granddaughter, Alice Himel, all of Franklin, two grandsons, Adam Himel and his wife Kristen of Erath and Ben Himel and his wife Cindy of ncro, five great grandchildren, two brothers, Randall Segura and his wife, Jo, of Texas, and Robert Segura and his wife, Lona, of Abbeville, one sister, Mary Dale Segura Dronet and her husband, Rudy, of Erath, his fur baby, Taylor, his oldest and dearest friend, Irvin Sonnier, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to family friend and caregiver, Keely Mayer, Heart of Hospice, and Dr. Roland Degeyter for the care provided. Private services will be held at a later date.
