Obituary: Barbara Bobbi (Markley) Sweet, 59, of Kamrar, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at her home on , 26, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m., , 2, 2015 at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to the service. Bobbi was born on 23, 1956 to Wert and Florence Markley in Ames, Iowa. She grew up and received her education in Ames and later graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Elementary Education. On 6, 1973, Bobbi was united in marriage to David Sweet. The couple has been blessed with three children, Emily, Angie, and Randal. Bobbi was an avid reader, enjoyed being on the computer, and had a very loving heart, always taking care of anyone she came in contact with. Bobbi will be deeply missed by her husband of 41 years, Dave; children, Emily Hansen, Angie Sweet, and Randal Sweet all of Kamrar; grandsons, David (Hope Stone) Linden and Brayden Riley Fulghum; mother, Florence Markley; siblings, Randy (Lisa) Markley, Wes (Jenelle) Markley, Wanda (Willie) Martin; mother-in-law, Jackie Buchman; brother-in-law, Dennis Buchman; sisters-in-law, Diane (Ron) Cunningham, Anita (Craig) Wilkening, Audrey Buchman-Molitor, Carrie (Kenny) Phipps, Crystal Buchman, and Fawn Hennick. She is also survived by her special kids, Andrea Hicks, Ryan and Bryan Shannon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Wert Markley; father-in-law, John Buchman; and son-in-law, Chris Hansen. |
