Obituary: Tom Spencer 71, of Lowell, passed away at home with loved ones, , 30, 2015. Survived by daughter, Lenore (John) Spitznagel of St. Louis, MO, grandsons, Nick and Ben, sister, Sandra Graves of Portage and loving companion, Doris Curless. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen and brothers, Ken and Paul. Tom attended Lowell First United Methodist Church, was a 1961 graduate of E. Gary Edison High School and Purdue in 1995. He was a Combat Engineer with the US Army, serving during Vietnam and past Commander of Lowell Am. Legion. A member of Tri Creek Historical Assoc., Friends of the Library, Gleaners, IN Writers Consortium, Write on Hoosiers, NWI Poetry Society, IN and National Federation of Poetry Clubs. Obituary: SCOTTY R. "PAPPY" SPENCER, SR., 77, a loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on 18, 2014 at his daughters residence in the presence of family. Scotty was born May 25, 1936 to Ruth and Albert Spencer in Benham, KY. Before retirement, Scotty was enlisted in the United States Navy which he proudly served as a Petty Officer 2nd Class for 10 years. During his military career, Scotty was recognized as an Ambassador of Peace for his time aboard the U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard CVA 31 in 1961. he was honorably discharged, he worked for the General Electric for 26 years. In his spare time, Scotty enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and all things sports. He was a quiet man who enjoyed his privacy but truly loved spending time with his family. Along with his parents, Scotty was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Todd Spencer. He is survived by his four children: Scott R. Spencer, Jr., Jennifer M. Endris, Stephanie R. Spencer and Shelley J. Hays (Ron); and his eleven grandchildren. Obituary: Ron K. Spencer, age 70, passed away surrounded by family at 1:48 am on 30, 2015. Ron was born on 6, 1944 in Kokomo to Mary Noe. In 1964 Ron married Mary Johnson. Ron worked as Masonry. He is survived by his children, Mike (Shawn) Spencer and Stacey Spencer -Lowe; grandchildren, Dennis (Nikki) Spencer, Adam (Sheri) Spencer, Mike Spencer Jr., Nicholas Spencer, Blake Harris, Judy and Lori Golliday, Ronnie Moiser; several great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also surviving are brothers, Mike (Brenda) Keegan, and Robin Carr; and special friend, Debbie Bentley. Ron was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Spencer Jr., mother, Mary Noe; grandparents, William and Katherine Morgan, brother Bill Morgan, and sister Delores Martin. Per Rons request, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
